Turbo problems

After 15000 km, it is my second time at the garage for a turbo issue. First time, it took over a week to repair the car and they had to realign the car. Second, I will knoe more next week. They had a lot of turbo problems with the cx-7, i fear it will be the smae with the new CX9.

Love it

This car is beautiful and sporty. I have the Signature Series?which I highly recommend. Rosewood was a great addition. It has a lot of safety features. It was my first SUV, and I have really enjoyed the 3rd row and ability to move/carry a lot of people or things. Love it

Good SUV , but poor fuel mileage

I am a Mazda fan and I like the car in overall, its comfortable, quite and fun to drive , however the fuel consumption is not good , I am getting around 16,5 MPG combined, which its way below of the 23s claimed by Mazda and many owners. Also, the Mazda Connect Infotainment system is very poor .. no Carplay or Android AUTO , and the integration with my IPhone 7Plus is pretty much the minimal , system is not even able to show text msgs or callers ID . Took it to dealer for a check and they conveniently blamed my phone , I have tried many other phones and results were pretty much the same , IPhone integration was always poor, but with Android the things are a bit better , but its still far away from a Ford Synch 3 for instance .

The CX-9 is a great car but not perfect.

The interior could use a little more space. The driver and passenger space is OK, but middle seating is tight and the third row seating is only really for emergency use when no other option is available. The napa leather interior is beautiful and well worth the additional cost, as is the Bose sound system. The interior is extremely quiet and feels like a luxury SUV. The car has great pick-up and haven't had to use sport mode - regular drive mode is plenty quick. Rented a Land Rover Discovery on vacation and it doesn't compare to the CX-9.

surprising

Been a v8 owner all my life and traded a rt charger for this. I was worried about the 4 banger, but I have to say it has lots of power at low rpms and good on gas. only miss is tight fit for my 6'3 because of the large center counsel and no rear heated seats. looks great and not like every other stamped suv out there. Well worth the money for all the bells. (signature)

Sporty Family Truckster

My wife and I traded our Mazda CX-5 in for the Mazda CX-9. The CX-9 as maintained the driving dynamics we loved about the CX-5 but added more cargo and passenger space. Hauling my daughter and all of he friends to their various school and extra curricular activities have made the 7 passenger seating very nice. The driving dynamics are much sportier than most 7 passenger vehicles. The interior is comfortable, quite, and luxurious. The power from a turbo 4 cylinder engine is impressive. Fuel mileage when not pushed too hard is impressive for a larger CUV, however when pushed mileage does drop significantly. Many reviews complain about the infotainment controls, however once you get used to them they prove to be very intuitive and functional. This vehicle has very few nits to pick, the higher trims price gets high, although most cars do now. Ours is a mid level Touring trim, which is nicely equipped. The AWD system works well navigating the snow/ice covered winter roads.

Most Amazingly Designed, Styled & Performing SUV

I was really amazed with new design and handling of this car. Haven't driven a SUV which is a 7-seater yet zippy and handled like a sports 5-seater SUV.
