Sports car or sporty car?

When I look at my Mazda2 I think it's a sporty looking compact economy car but when I drive it I'm certain I'm in a sports car. It handles that good! The seats are comfortable and supportive, outward vision is excellent and the handling is surprisingly good. Yes from a stand still it lacks punch but rev it a bit and it's sweet running under powered engine wakes up. I've had no problems whatsoever in my short 12000 miles but it's solid build inspires confidence. It feels as fast as my wife's Fit and handles bumps and road irregularities better. I do love her Honda but I just like the Mazda2 so much better in spite of it's smaller interior space. I have no regrets and I'm impressed each time I drive it.

fun-to-drive subcompact

This little 5-door hatch is better than others in terms of handling and response to driver overall. Besides, IMHO its the best looking subcompact. No cranking windows [period, all power already even on base model and key less entry included as well while Toyota still cut corners and sell bare bones!

Luv this car

Sporty, fun to drive, good gas mileage. Drove from Illinois to the Smokey Mountains with my 16 year old grandson and camped for a week. We were comfortable, had room for our camping gear and no problems.

Absolutely love and recommend

This car is exactly what I needed as a working college student. Great on gas, comfortable, roomy, easy to park and easily fits groceries and such in the hatchback.

Could have used a larger gas tank

It has a rigid suspension making a stiff ride. I fill up the tank once every three days. A larger tank would be better to fill up once every five days at least.

That is cheap for a cheap car.

It is reliable. Not the most comfortable car, what it works. Mazda has done a really good job. No complaints.
