I love Mazda3's
This is my 5th Mazda3, and i love these cars, but the seat on my 2017 is uncomfortable. Its leather instead of cloth, and it feels smaller on my bottom and back, I dont feel like i "fit" in the drivers seat. Its unfortunate with a car that otherwise i love endlessly.

Fun Car with Great Gas Mileage
It's sporty and get's good gas mileage. It's also like a sedan so you get the best of both worlds. The only thing I wish it had was a little more power.

Zoom Zoom, Driving Matters - I Get it!
So...I'm coming off a 2006 Buick LaCrosse with 213K miles. I'm in my 50's and wanted something smaller since I don't have passengers very frequently. I was looking at the Buick Verano since I'm a GM gal at heart. The Vernano got terrible reviews and they discontinued the model, I believe, because they couldn't compete in that class. I test drove a slightly used Verano and it felt pretty similar to my LaCrosse, looked pretty similar to my LaCrosse, but was smaller. The cabin was very quiet which I think I wanted and pretty much expected. That's the thing.....it was kind of boring and predictable. Then I test drove the 2018 Mazda 3. Zoom Zoom, Driving Matters....Yes, it it not as quiet as the Buick and has a COMPLETELY different feel. Had I not test drove the Mazda 3, I probably would have purchased the Buick out of familiarity and GM loyalty! I would have not ever even considered the brand Mazda but went for a test drive out of curiosity about all the rave reviews. My advice: Test drive the Mazda 3. I ended up getting the 2018 loaded Premium touring model in the beautiful soul red with parchment leather seats and I love it! The safety features are incredibly helpful. I especially love the warning when back out of a parking lot space. That's helped me 10x already in the month or so that I've driven it. I LOVE all the automatic features from the cruise, to the high/low beams, to auto dimming mirror. There is currently nothing I don't love about the car. The size of the car and the graceful lines and styling are just beautiful. I love the acceleration, handling, and the sport feature, when I use it. Switching from Auto to Manual is kind of cool too when you are in the mood. Blind spot warning - I love it. It makes navigating on busy highway MUCH less stressful. Since I've only owned the car about 1 month, I can not speak to the reliability. Still, I'm enjoying all the features and hope they, and all the important mechanical functions, last a very long time. I intend to maintain it best I can. And, the Soul Red paint color is just beautiful. And the parchment with black interior is very classy. I love it! Again, I recommend that if like me, you've never considered a Mazda, give it a try. It's a very upscale feel at an affordable price. I personally am not into cars to much so wouldn't take the plunge on any bigger investment in a "luxury" class car...but this one, is just right for me with all the features, the price/value, and the "zoom zoom, driving matters" definitely resonates with me. It's fun, it's beautiful, I like it! Open your mind to another brand...test drive it, and see what you think! I'm glad it did! Love it!

Better than expected!
Overall, this car is a great value. The manual transmission is smooth and makes it a fun car to drive. The interior is very nice and has a good feel to it. The seats are comfortable and the car gets 35 mpg mixed driving. My only gripe would be the road noise due to the limited noise deadening material and tires. My wife has a simple solution but effective - she turns up the radio. I would definitely recommend this car.

Great Handling Care
This Mazda 3 is excellent so far . I only have 1000. miles on it. I have the 2.5 engine and a manual transmission so the power is great and gas mileage is good as well. I look for back roads so I can drive the car and enjoy the handling.

Fantastic Car
I thought I loved my 2010 Mazda 3 i sport that i bought used in late 2013, until I test drove a 2017 grand touring a couple of months ago. This is a great car! Good power, confidence building handling, fun technology, and pretty comfortable to drive. The 2010 was just in to get fixed while I was familiarizing myself with the 2017's and by the time it was fixed, I decided to buy a 2017 instead. The dealer was pretty hard up to sell remaining 2017's so I got a great deal, including the trade on my 2010. Who cares if it isn't quite as flat out fast as other competitors, I guarantee you that you will crush them on the back roads with the way it handles and feels. Brings a smile and a laugh every time I take a corner at break neck speed. Love this car.
