Few luxury brands have the cachet of Mercedes-Benz, whose story has been one of proliferation — whether it’s one-off models or entire sub-brands like the EQ line of electric vehicles. This includes the EQE and EQS sedan and SUV variants, though Mercedes is pivoting away from the stand-alone EQ line and offering electric versions of gas-engine models instead.

The automaker offers a robust line of passenger cars, including the subcompact CLA-Class, compact C-Class, mid-size E-Class and full-size S-Class sedans. In terms of SUVs, the compact GLC-, mid-size GLE-, and full-size GLS-Class form the core of Mercedes’ offerings. Mercedes also sells “coupe” versions of the GLC and GLE with raked rooflines. There is also the pricey G-Class off-roader.

The Mercedes-AMG performance division offers versions of most Mercedes vehicles, as well as AMG-exclusive vehicles like the SL-Class convertible and AMG GT sedan. The Mercedes-Maybach division offers even fancier versions of select models.
