it's the best or nothing. Great Car from MB.

Purchased the car from a single previous owner who bought it new. I've had it for the past 9 years. Kept the regular services on time and everything works. The only parts that had to be changed are as in the services books, nothing unusual.

C200 Kompressor very classy , but not for Asia.

I bought my car from a dealer and after 3 years the ceiling canvass peeled off. I complained to the dealer and I was told its because of the hot weather. I live in the Philippines and apparently I have friends who experience the same problem. To fix it will cost US 2,000.00. They should tropicalize the cars if to be sold in hot countries.

2003 Mercedes C-Class - Fun on Western Road Trips

Mercedes makes well-engineered cars with a lot of features. The 2002-2007 C-Class (I've owned two, a 2002 and 2003) is a fun car to drive--particularly on a road trip. I've had it up to nearly 100 mph on Western Interstate highways. It's designed for that kind-of thing. That said, it has average reliability. Parts can be expensive. You need to stay away from dealers and need to find a reliable parts house (I bought A LOT of parts from FCP Euro). Early models of this generation C-Class have corrosion problems. Trunk space is limited when you take a road trip. Absolutely, two people max. But, I've never regretted owning these two vehicles (well, sometimes I have). When it's running well (most of the time), it's a great car. But it helps to have an independent, reliable mechanic or be a DIYer for the stuff you can do yourself. And it also helps if you can buy your own parts and have the mechanic install them. If you want reliability, buy a Toyota. If you want reliability and comfort, buy a Lexus. If you want a road car, buy a Mercedes or BMW. I recommend this car, with caveats.

In terms of driving performance, its very swift.

This is my first time to drive and own a Mercedez Benz...I've heard of great reviews and many expenses involve in regards to repair and so forth, but then again. I've driven BMW's, Audi's and most other cars,,,but, Mercedez-Benz, really top it all. It has better gas mileage w/c I need from here and back to work, then school, good size to move around the city of New York, and best of all, very stylish that goes along w/ my likings.. I am very impress.

Affordable AMG Supercar

One of the most affordable AMG Supercars, with unreal sleeper performance 349 hp with autoshift transmission. Interior is basic especially for a 2003 MBZ, cheap looking silver carbon fiber in cockpit is very fake...But you'll forget about it as you scream past corvettes, M3's, and 911's, not kidding.

My C320 was a NIGHMARE!

PLEASE!!!! Do not buy a 2003 C230 K, this car has so many problems. Mercedes replaced the cylinder heads multiple times. Hoses, belt, you name it. All items on the major part list. This car as cost me thousands of dollars. Scream and run if someone attempts to sell you this model... specifically the 2003 produced models. Google it !

C240 Sedan Looks can be Deceiving

This is a great looking car. Hands down. But my C240 sedan is short on comfort items. Mercedes are supposed to be luxury cars so consider options like power door locks and windows to be standard. This car doesnt have intermittent wipers, has a manual seat adjustment and whole bunch of blank buttons in the center of the dash that do nothing. First Mercedes I've ever seen without a sunroof. Admittedly, this car has been pretty reliable and has never left me stranded. But repairs, unless you can perform them yourself, will be expensive. The catalytic converter was rattling when I bought it. Should have seen that coming. The crankshaft position sensor caused me to fail smog inspection. Performance wise-loses a drag race with a Nissan Versa, but long distance drives at high speeds are effortless.
