Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022-2023 AMG G 63 and 2023 G 550 vehicles. The air-conditioning system may not have been filled with the correct refrigerant.
In the event of a crash, the incorrect refrigerant may leak and increase the risk of a fire.
Dealers will replace the air-conditioning refrigerant, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 12, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2024030016.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2024 GLE, GLS, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, SL, GLC, CLS, AMG GT, and G-Class vehicles. Please refer to MBUSA's recall report for specific vehicle details. The fuel pump may shutdown, causing a loss of drive power.
A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2024. Owner notification letters will be mailed in phases, on February 23, 2024, April 19, 2024, June 28, 2024, and August 9, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022-2023 AMG G63 special edition 4x4? (squared) vehicles. The rear axle differential housing may develop cracks, possibly resulting in oil leaking onto the roadway or axle failure.
Oil leaking onto the roadway may cause a road hazard for following traffic. Rear axle failure can result in a sudden loss of handling or drive power. Either of these conditions can increase the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the repair has been performed. Towing to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer may be necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 28, 2024. Owner notification letters will be mailed in phases, on June 28, 2024, August 9, 2024, and August 23, 2024. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2019-2021 G550 and AMG G63 vehicles. The front axle wiring harness may chafe against an oil cooler and become damaged, which can cause a loss of anti-lock brakes (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC).
A loss of anti-lock brakes or electronic stability control can increase the risk of a crash.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2022 AMG G63 4x4-squared vehicles. The rear axle differential housing may crack, leaking oil onto the road. In addition, the rear axle differential housing may break, resulting in a loss of rear wheel control and drive power.
A loss of rear wheel control and drive power can increase the risk of a crash. In addition, differential oil that leaks onto the road can increase the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the vehicle has been remedied. Dealers will inspect and replace the rear axle, as necessary, free of charge. The MBUSA Customer Assistance Center will assist owners to make arrangements with their authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer to have the vehicle towed for inspection. Towing and loaner vehicles or alternate transportation, where available, will be offered at no cost to the customer. Owner notification letters were mailed May 12, 2023. An error in the communication module's SIM card software can cause a mobile network connection failure, disabling the emergency call (eCall) system.
A disabled eCall system would prevent a vehicle occupant from contacting the emergency services call center in an emergency, potentially delaying emergency responders and increasing the risk of injury.

During the manufacturing process, particles may have been trapped between the fuel rail and injectors, which can cause a fuel leak.
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source, such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
