2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible
Amazing little car that has me wanting more! I mainly bought this as a family summer vehicle but find myself wanting to take it out constantly. Bought used as I was looking for the super charger vs. the turbo. This was more of a personal preference. Only suggestion is to have it certified by Mini.

I love this car!
After having this car for nearly 4 years and over 32K miles, I still love it as much as on day 1. I have a 15 month old, and the minor discomforts of having to fit a infant car seat and then a convertible car seat into a 2 door car still never made me want to give up this car. It is solid and I always felt safe in it. As long as the snow doesn't go above the bumper, I was always impressed by how it handled in the snow. I have the S and got excited every time I entered an on-ramp and could feel it's power.

Reminds me why I love driving...
I recently got my hands on a 2006 Cooper S Convertible. Getting behind the wheel of this car forces a smile onto your face. It's got incredible pep and agility, and you feel like a kid cruising through the neighborhood in a go kart. All this being said, the interior is incredible comfortable. The heated seats definitely get the job done, and the lumbar support in the front seats makes your body just hug the seat. The Harmon Kardon stereo system is fantastic and has enough power to allow you to hear the radio fine with the top down, even on the highway. The optional Xenon headlights throw an amazing amount of light onto the road. The one thing that I should warn you about is that if you have any tendencies whatsoever to drive aggressively, this car will get you into trouble. Between the quick acceleration of the turbocharged engine and the nimble maneuverability, you may very well find yourself in road rage heaven. My very favorite part of driving this car is the throaty little growl of the exhaust. Every time you let up on the gas, you hear the exhaust pop and sputter, almost egging you on to push down a little harder on that pedal on the right... If you drive for the experience of it, then this is your car. If you are fresh out of college or are a family looking at a second car, then this is a fantastic choice. Expecting much more usefulness out of the nonexistent storage space will frustate you to tears, so you family guys (and gals) might want to make sure that your mini has a minivan for a sibling. I traded in a 2005 Mustang for my mini. I thought I enjoyed cruising in my Stang... I had no idea what I was missing.

Very Disappointing!
Saw this car and fell in love with it! Love the look and the handling. After the 3rd day I was over it! I commute almost an hour and this is the most uncomfortable seat I have ever been in! Even with the lumbar off it was just pushing into my back so bad! I have never had this problem before! The ride is very hard and jarring over bridges or imperfect pavement. The size of the sunroof was nice but couldnt open it on the highway cause the noise was horrible! Nice to look at but not for a real car to live with and drive long distances. Took a big hit and took me 5 months but finally got rid of it!

Warthogs
Couldn't be happier with this car. Worth the long search. So much fun to drive & everyone one loves it. Super power, easy to park, always gets stared at! Plenty of room in the front seats for anyone.

Outstanding, Dependable and Just Down Right Fun
Outstanding vehicle with superior gas mileage. This is one of the autos that has to be driven to be apppreciated. With the JCW parts available, it becomes a little screaming demon. Handling is well above alot of sports cars in the $70,000+ range. If you think a Porsche Boxster or 911 will out handle it in the corners, you're going to get a little supprise. With the available JCW parts it will exceed 140+ in a straight line and handle like a go kart in the corners. 0-60 times in the 4 second range. Maintenance is quite simple and accessable. It's a quality auto for a respectable price and just a blast to drive.

My Favorite Car Ever...
I love my 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible, manual. So much that I want to replace the one I just totaled in an accident. Out of all the cars out there I can buy, four years later I still want my year, make, model and features...Black, white bonnet stripes, chrome trim in/out, 17" rims, heated seats, multi-functional steering wheel, on-board computer, etc. What can I say? Buy one fully loaded = never being disappointed...

Mini is great!
I've owned a Mini Cooper for over three years. What a great car. Despite the looks from the outside, the front seat is one of the most spacious I've driven. The actual driver's seat is also one of the most comfortable I've ever had. The car handles like a dream, has tons of pep, is fun to drive, and still gets good gas mileage. The Harmon stereo system is amazing too. With the top down on the convertible, the sound is amazing. The only issue I've ever had is that when you are at a stop light in the front position, sometimes you have trouble seeing the overhead hanging traffic lights. Other than that, the car is loads of fun.

One of the Best Cars Ever Owned
Next to the Porsche, the Mini has been one of the best cars I've owned. It's fun, easy to drive, and economical. It's got some zip too. Can't tell you how many times people stop me in parking lots to look at the car and ask if it's fun to drive. Love to open the sun roof and cruise around town.

Lots of get up and go, great gas mileage
A great car for zipping around town, running errands, and good gas mileage for commuting to work. My husband says it's like a 'little rocket ship.'
