2006 MINI Cooper S consumer reviews

This car is the most unreliable car I have ever owned. It is really cute, but everything small broke on it in the first 50,000 miles, and then everything large started breaking as soon as the warranty was up. The dealership makes it clear that you are a second-class citizen if you bought a Mini rather than a BMW. I would strongly advise anyone to admire a car that someone else owns for looks and buy something else to drive.

it was my 2nd choice but i'm glad i got it. it's very fun to drive esp on tight turns. comfort is pretty okay when you're in the front but not in the back. then again, some of my friends have said it was quite comfortable. love the xenon headlights! can absolutely see at night. for now i'm sticking to my "Bob" until another car comes out that's better than my mini.

lots of fun to drive, gets lots of looks, bigger inside than it looks. seats have lots of range for taller people. great value for price.

I love this car it is so much fun to drive that my wife won't let me drive it. it is very good with gas and very very fast. even though the room in the back is not big my six year old daughter love it and space is not a problem with her. all she talks about is that she wants the mini when she goes to high school.

Has mad driving to and from work a pleasure. Like a little race car. Great car that everybody always want to "take for a spin". Fun!!

THE MINI COOPER S IS THE MOST FUN BIG -SMALL CAR YOU WILL DRIVE. IT IS A SPORTS CAR THAT IS AFFORDABLE AND ROOMY INSIDE.

I LOVE this car, it's fun it's fast it's fuel efficient! Sure it's not street racing car, but for it's size and price it's a lot more than you'll get for most cars.

Always thought they were just "cute chick" cars until my wife convinced me to drive a Cooper S. I'm constantly amazed at how fun daily driving has become since we picked it up 3 months ago. So far there have been no problems at all. Neither me nor my waife are very tall so there is lots of legroom for anyone who sits behind us. GREAT value for the money. The xenon headlights are a must have feature for anyone who drives at night much. They turn it into daylight in front of you. The sunroof is huge although I use the airconditioning 95% of the time so almost never open it - except at night when the moon is out.

This car really does make the mundane everyday errand running fun. It is a driver's car. If you are not a gear head you may not appreciate its quality.

Only problem: we are on our 3rd front headlight, which is not good for under 6,000 miles. Love this car! Even on a freeway it does not feel small and handles exceptionally well.
