One of the most fun cars for the money!
My 2013 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Roadster is absolutely a blast. The JCW package includes more power and better brakes and suspension for fun back roads blasting and autocross use. It's a little harsh for daily driving, however, as the JCW suspension is a little lower and stiffer. I also have ultra high performance run flats on it, as there's no room for a spare, and I don't want to wait around for a tow if I get a nail or something in a tire. When new, this was a $45k car, and a bit expensive for a MINI. But on the used market, they are a real performance and economy value. They do have a reputation for worse reliability than normal cars, but if you find a well taken care of example, the N18 powered JCW and S roadsters are actually quite robust. I hope to have this car for many fun filled years to come, and would recommend people looking at sports cars give them a chance.

Mini Roadster Like No Other!
For a two seater, this car is AWESOME! There is plenty of leg and head room and a large trunk! Since there's no back seat, there is a small ledge for bags, etc. and a pass through compartment to the trunk. The soft top convertible adds a special touch. The sound system rocks and is totally sufficient even with the top down.

"JCW Roadster"....that name says it all!
IMO there is not a rag top MINI on the road more thrilling to drive, or pleasing to look at, than the JCW Roadster. The smiles just never stop. The only negative is that MINI doesn't produce this model anymore so, only a few, fortunate, owners will ever have the pleasure to experience the unique qualities of these fine performance cars.

What a Blast
My wife had an S2000 and sold it five years ago, since then she has wanted to get back into a sports car. We looked at everything imaginable, and ended up with the Cooper S Roadster (convertible). She is 5" tall and it suits her, however, I'm 6'2", so it's her car. Drove it cross country, doing 85-90mph most of the way, and it had more that it could have given. It has a high noise level, but the turbo makes you forget about it. This car handles REALLY well, and whether or not you are in sport mode, it provides great acceleration, with a fairly high red line. Trunk space is adequate, but don't expect to find a spare tire, thus they are usually paired with run flat tires... or get yourself a AAA membership. Sound system is great and comes with SiriusXM as an option. Managing the menu for the system is not terribly intuitive, but you'll catch on. With front wheel drive it was pleasing to see how well it did in snowy conditions. Six speed shifts smoothly and other than a lack of lumbar support, it is a great car!

Most fun car
This is my 1st mini and now I know what the craze is all about. These cars are too much fun. Lightweight so they are real quick. You won’t even expect it to be as fast as it is. Extremely easy to park (they are so small) and I never had any issue even when I travel and put 2 suitcases in the back and in the trunk

Check Dream Car Found Off the List
I was searching for something specific: an automatic MINI Roadster convertible in Pepper White with Brown leather interior. I found one for sale by a private seller on Cars.com. The seller dropped the price, which made it even better. I had to drive 10 hours one way to get it, but after a seamless sales transaction, she is well worth it. 10 hours back home was a breeze.

So fun to drive
This was a ton of fun to drive, and had plenty of headroom even without the top down (I'm 6'2"). Sporty, eager to sprint, the turbo on this little gem goosed it into traffic without a hitch. Nothing better on the open road.
