Too Many positives to list
The pickup is amazing especially handy when passing or merging into traffic in a busy highway. Gas millage can't be beat either unless you hit it hard all the time. I have had mine for 7 years and other than the usual maintenance, the car hasn't seen the shop.

Great car
I have not had any problems with this car. It handles great and has gotten me a lot of looks. There is not a lot of street noise with the top up, but when it's down, and the wind is blowing through your hair, there is no better feeling.

Love/Hate Relationship
03 Eclipse GS Automatic The car is somewhat reliable. At 73k, I've had many small problems. Oil sending unit gone out, transmission weird shifting, and other small stuff. This car is beautiful, but thats about it

I love this car!
I have the sound and light package: great speakers and a sunroof. My only complaint about this car is noise. It is noisier inside than other cars I've had, so I just turn the sound up a bit more. I absolutely love the styling and handling. There is only one small blindspot off to the left rear, but if I'm paying attention to everything that's behind me it doesn't present a problem at all. The car has big tires and handles very well at high speeds. It has great pickup and it's gotten me away from many idiot drivers and in this way I've avoided quite a few possible accidents. I'm sorry they've changed the body in the newer Eclipses. I don't like the look of the newer models.

Love It
It is a gorgeous sporty-look car. It gets great gas milage and I would recommend this Mitsubishi Eclipse Convertible Spyder GS to anyone. The only problem I could say is that there is hardly any leg room in the back and uncomfortable spacing for 2 adults to be in the back.

Absolutely love my Spyder!
I'm a truck person and never wanted a car, but I'm glad I chose to stop and test-drive this car. I bought it right after the test-drive and have been extremely happy with it since.

Most reliable car there is!!
wonderful cars - eclipses are the best! These cars are reliable and just flat out well built. They get excellent gas mileage and it is just hard to come up with any problems that I can think of. If there is a problem I would just say the leg room in the back seat. thats it though!!

A sporty car for the real life!
Eclipse GTS is a sporty car for the real world with eye catching lines, roomy interior (for two people), decent power, and comfortable ride. Front wheel drive and traction control makes it an unexpectedly competent transporter during snowy winter months. It has decent pep for the stop and go traffic, and highway passing power. It has a smooth, reliable engine with the most enjoyable growl. Back seat problems are obvious, you should not consider this car (or other coupes for the same reason) if you are considering to carry more than one passenger during long trips. And if you are looking for an enthusiast's sports car, then Eclipse will be unfit since it lacks real wheel drive and stiffer suspension. Overall, this car is more than enough to be driven fast on public roads with lots of room for two people and a reliable engine/transmission.
