2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse consumer reviews

No car is perfect. Mine is a Eclipse GT, new to me, 6 weeks 44000 K. have had all kinds of vehicles. To me vehicles have to look and feel like fun. This Eclipse delivers bigger then I first thought and it's unpretentious.

Great car. Powerful and responsive engine with a 6 speed manual transmission. I get compliments on the vehicle regularly. Gas mileage varies between 18 and 25.

In my opinion I believe this car is a great value. Now please don't get me wrong it's not the king of the street in regard to 0-60 times but it is an overall good value. I have t1he 2.4 liter ,4 cylinder with the SE package. I used to own a 6 cylinder ( Which was also a cool ride), but when I purchased this one I was trying to save some money on insurance. My car currently has 146,000 miles on the odometer and outside of regular maintenance the only major problems I've had have been the air conditioning condenser and the catalytic converter. I LOVE the sound system in this care! It's a Rockford-Fosgate system with a 6 disk CD changer. This sound system came with the SE package. I also got a rear spoiler and front air dam with this package. I STILL get compliments on thi car!

I recently bought the 4 cylinder Eclipse, and the power is still there. I am over 6 feet tall, and there is plenty of room for my comfort. The only downfalls to this car are back seat is not really useable at my height. There are pretty big blind spots, so you really have to be aware of your surroundings. And it sits a little low for anyone that has back or knee issues to get out of it. As for me, I love this car...comfort, power, and Everything else!

Has so far met all of my needs. Seller had new brakes put in and new wipers installed before purchase. Very nice vehicle and kept in great condition. Seller provided all of needed information and informed me of everything good and bad that the vehicle had gone through.

Overall, this Eclipse is hard to beat as a combination of sporty appearance, decent gas mileage, and easy handling. The interior is somewhat plain compared to the exterior design, and it could benefit from a rear camera for backing due to the views available. While it doesn't have the quick start of more powerful cars, it handles well once it gets going. Side note .. teenager has certainly put it through its paces, including a collision with a 6 point deer, and light pole. Damage was mainly cosmetic in nature.

No bad complaints from when I driven the vehicle, can accerlate at a high speed in a matter of seconds! Very comfortable! No doubt, its a great car

Fast and equipped with monster engine! Love the color! Interior and exterior. I think the car is a must have. Long lasting and I can make adjustments to the vehicle as time passes on

Comfortable seating, runs great engine sounds nice, very responsive yet good with gas. I love the stero, digital display compass and exterior temperature gauge on the dash.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This car is stylish, fun, comfortable, fuel efficient. safe, and out of all the cars I have ever owned has only 1 recall.
