More than a little surprised........

I own a 2012, 2.4 lite,r GS Coupe with the 5sp. It is a great car. pro: -It looks great from any angle -In real world driving it handles great -Lots of road feel -More than adequate power -Great sounding exhaust -Fantastic front seats -Lots of usable space with the rear seats down. -Very comfortable on the highway at 80mph -Easy car to do 800 miles a day in. -FWD makes it acceptable in snowy conditions -27 mpg in real world driving -Great reliability -Great value as a used car con: -Visibility to the rear quarters. It's a trade off for the styling. Take the time to adjust your mirrors. -The ride is a little choppy and busy on secondary roads. Overall, a fun, reasonably practical, car that will actually have you smiling as you bust on and off ramps on the daily commute. The reliability and gas mileage are bonuses

What a ride

My 2011 spyder convertible growls, is very responsive for a 4 cyl., and really makes this 72 yr old guy smile. It is winter, but can't wait to put the top down as we will be driving to florida soon. Also bought a plexiglass wind deflector that attaches to the back of the seats and it was only $110. I may add a larger air flow add on to the motor that will increase the horse power by 17hp. They don't make this car any longer, so it may eventually go up in value.

Nice Car to Drive

This is a nice, affordable car to drive. It's very responsive and hugs the ground when cornering. Interior: -Bad blind spots -No real up-to-date features -Interior seems to be cheaply made -Real comfortable front seats Exterior: Great design. Really turn heads. Engine: 2.4 is sluggish

Unbeliveable value and looks

This company has been making engines for close to 100 years, almost indestructible. the features , design and quality cannot be beat by any other maker. The look you get in the car, the sound system, smooth ride, 11 sec top down ,rear seat for extra person, try getting that at Porsche, Mercedes and see what that buys you. the top is the best I have ever had, no leaks , little wind noise....they stop making them so if you can find one in good condition grab it, love it and its my second one in 12 years

Best in its class!

I was originally going to buy the Evo X. But it was out of my price range at the time. Two very different cars, however this is probably the best cars i've ever bought! (had 3) This thing just SCREAMS drive me. The V6 has loads of power, a 0-60 in 5.6 seconds and it just keep climbing. The suspension is comfortable enough for everyday use, but around twisty turns it will pull you down! Thank god for those leather racing seats. They keep you from falling off to the side. The grip is amazing, high turning radius for really fast driving. Gas milage is great if you keep your car in good shape. I have 40000 miles on it and not once have i had a problem. I have replaced my brakes to EBC kevlar yellowstuff and rotors seeing as how this car produces so much power, i like to keep safety in mind. The rocksford audio with 650 watts is well worth it. Great space in the trunk, but this should have been a full on sports car without rear seats. Just my preference. Ive also upgraded from the original tires to the Goodyear F1 All season ultra high perfomance. This car demands it with the way i drive it. The gear box on the manual is really one of the best, but the 5 speed sportronic automatic is a lot of fun as well. Unlike most cars for this price, i dont think you sacrafice anything for another. It is simply one of the most attractive styles of a coupe out there, yet its outside matches the inside and the performance it delivers. Test drive one and you will see what im talking about when i say power. Head turns left and right. Also, its exhaust sounds amazing. V8 worthy and lots of torque left and right. 260 pound feet of torque, Acceleration is a blast. No regrets

Amazing value for the money!

Before I bought this car I considered many other, much more expensive cars like the ford fusion, Honda Civic Si, etc. Because of where I live (Chicago) snow is an issue, and I needed to opt for FWD. Now, let me tell you I was NOT expecting to buy this car. The dealer gave us a very good deal. I test drove the automatic eclipse, and it seemed a little bit down on power. HOWEVER, I bought the 5 speed manual and now all is great. If you're going to get the I4, GET THE MANUAL. I can't stress this enough. This car get ample power. Although it won't blow you away like the V6 model, it will provide you with a very good amount of power. Oh, and the engine sounds awesome (not like normal I4s). The handling is just great. Even though it's FWD, it holds up really well in the corners and the steering is very solid and pretty precise. It is not electronic steering, so it feels much more natural (a plus in my opinion). Now, about the interior. It's simply, high quality, and does what you want. Now, I'm not going to lie, the interior isn't as good as say, a VW GTI. However, for about 10 grand less than the GTI, the interior is very good. You won't see cheap plastics. All the buttons are very sloid, easy to use, and the layout is VERY NICE. It just works. Plain and simple. Nothing fancy like those huge navigation touchscreens with a ton of other buttons around them. The leather-wrapped with black stitching gear shifter and steering wheel feel extremely nice and high quality. The cloth seats are comfortable, and the suspension is just right, not too stiff nor too numb. The stereo system is also very good. The transmission is also very nice and smooth. All in all, this car was the right choice. Amazing styling, with ample trunk room and very nice handling. Though a bit down on power, if you opt for the manual transmission you will be fine. Test drive this car, and you won't regret it.
