Key Points
- The 2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross starts at $29,700 (all prices include $1,745 destination charge).
- The compact SUV sees no major changes for 2026.
- Offers up to 26 mpg combined
Through the first three quarters of this year, the Mitsubishi Mirage is outselling the Eclipse Cross by almost 10% — despite none being built, as the Mirage was discontinued after the 2024 model year. Given American buyers’ icy reception of the Eclipse Cross, little changes on the small SUV this year. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard equipment and most buyers presumably using their phones for navigation, the embedded navigation system is dropped for 2026. The SEL also now gets the “Eclipse Cross” hood badge standard.

Trim Levels
The base Eclipse Cross ES rides on 16-inch wheels and features LED exterior lighting, heated side mirrors and remote keyless entry. Inside are an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manually adjustable front seats upholstered in cloth, automatic climate control and four speakers. The Eclipse Cross’s safety suite is as basic as the rest of the vehicle; standard equipment on the ES consists of forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking and lane departure warning.
Step up to the LE and you’ll get black 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, keyless entry and start, heated front seats and voice recognition. The SE adds a hands-free power liftgate, synthetic suede upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control and a six-speaker sound system. The SE also comes with adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert and an upgraded forward collision system that works at higher speeds. The Black Edition is the same but with black exterior trim (including a roof spoiler) and sport pedals. The SEL gets paddle shifters to work through eight simulated gears, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable passenger seat and a heated steering wheel. A 360-degree camera system is standard on the SEL.
