2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution consumer reviews

What a car. I am looking for my next car and why not have more performance right? Well...I can't find better all around performance for even $50-60k....maybe I should just buy a new EVO MR instead! Ok so well if you like sports cars (perhaps even supercars), this car is for you. Basically it comes with racing tires, so when you take a corner you it just sticks, it will make you afraid to push it to its limit, simply because that limit is so far away. AWD is awesome, I would like all the sports cars I buy to have it, what a great sense of security with all that power, you can floor it at just about any yaw angle, and it just moves out. The ride is really not that harsh, I think the press makes it seem worse than it really is. Power...well small, simple modifications (if one desires) easily yields 325hp and about 300lbs of torque all at 21+ mpg. The car is fast, pretty much pulls like a slingshot. Take it to the drag strip and chase down (I mean leave) C5 corvettes. Low 13's high 12's at the drag strip and with AWD, 0-60 times in the low 4's. Brembo brakes..I think it was motortrend that quoted 109ft 60-0, same as a Ferrari 360. I have had zero issues with the car in 3 years and 32k miles. Phenomenal car. See what I mean...hard to beat for the money...or $20-30k of more money... Oh yeah..also in winter (I live in MN) it is again amazing..I put on Blizzacks...at 100mph+ on 2-3 inches of snow..ok I START to get a little nervous...but braking hard at 80mph in snow...no worries. It just goes anywhere....very quickly, all conditions. Wow...simply one of the best cars ever made for a mortal. If you don't believe me...just go drive it and then tell me I am wrong :)

Deff changes the way you think about cars. Awesome car. Great handling, looks, and style. Reccommend driving! You will not feel the same about other cars afterwards.
