Last of its kind

by 14EvoDriver from Boston, MA on Wed Nov 19 2014

Super power, handling, driver-focused weapon. Need to know what you're buying with this car-if you value any kind if comfort, then this car is not for you. I use this car as my daily driver-60 miles per day, makes my trip to and from work extremely enjoyable. I'm also getting 25mog average. Watch the stock tires-only good for 10-15k if you are lucky and they do not work AT ALL in the snow. The car is perfect stock from the factory, modifying or tuning is a waste in my opinion. Much sharper than the latest WRX STI, 100% reliable when compared to questionable German stuff and cheaper to maintain...awesome car.

Evo X MR

by Sports Car Enthusiast from Rochester NY on Wed Oct 16 2013

Evo X MR, this is by far one of the better cars for the money. The twin clutch / two gear boxes, make shifting with the paddles as fast as ever and with the hidden factory launch control feature it blast from a stop in record speed. A must have for anyone looking for a single car that does alot, it can seat 5 people, it is awd so weather is never a problem and you can add heated seats and a nav / music sever to round out the Evo.

awesome car!!!!

by LuvmyEVo from Newtown, Pa on Thu Aug 28 2014

I have wanted an Evo since I was old enough to drive and this car is better then I imagined!! It really does have the best AWC on the market. The Recaro racing seat hold you in place as you hug every turn!! I purchased it from Peruzzi Mitsubishi they are very professional and not pushy like other dealerships. Make sure you ask for Bret Cohoon he was my salesmen not only did he make me feel comfortable he know's his cars.

Amazing car

by Evostvo from Lancaster Ca on Sat Feb 22 2014

Great performance even bone stock. Aftermarket parts are abundant and with $1000.00 you can get the car well over 300hp for $2000.00 you can make an FQ400. I have owned many great sport sedans including the STi and the Evolution is by far the better car. I have a 2010 Evo X GSR 5 Speed. All reviews show a 0-60 in 4.9 and 1/4 Mile 13.6. I was able to pull consistent 0-60 in 4.4 and 1/4 mile in 12.8. My only warning is be good to your Evolutions clutch. It can wear fast on the 5 speed with hard launching. 6-8K miles. With average driving and no launching i have managed 40k miles and it still feels great plus i have the FQ400 setup now

Amazing car overall

by evox_lou from Lorain, Oh on Mon Sep 11 2017

A legendary car that will impress you with its traction on every corner, pushing close to 300hp & 300 ft/lb of torque. Quick out the factory with lots of potential if modified. Although the sporty suspension is pretty rough and the Recaro bucket seats are not ideal for long drives, it's still quite smooth in city driving. It seats 5 with the backseats having a good amount of leg room for a car of this class, but is ideal for single or smaller families since the trunk space is small & occupied by some fluid storage compartments and battery storage to help balance out the weight. Overall, great car that turns heads everywhere. Can come fully loaded depending on the feaures you can find.

First awd car i ever driven.

by xSartori from on Mon Sep 18 2017

Fun performance car but with a 2L turbo, gas mileage was only 17 city, wider turning radius had small amount of turbo lag, very basic interior. No longer in production so every dealership thinks these cars are pure gold but for the price there is better things out there.

Our Take on the 2014 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

Mitsubishi's 2014 Lancer Evolution is a bully of a sports sedan that's unconcerned if your back is sore and unapologetic if the groceries don't fit, but it's fast and fun on the track.

That's not news for the Evolution, the current generation of which is relatively unchanged in its seventh model year — a long time in automotive years. Unlike the regular Lancer compact sedan, the turbocharged Evolution is no grocery-getter, even with four doors and standard all-wheel drive. Competitors like the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and BMW 135i maintain more civility during everyday driving by not being as dedicated to going as fast as possible through a corner as the Evolution is. Two new players, however, offer... Read More
