Price was to high almost 16,000 for it.500 dollors a month for a car that has hsd problems since day one.had it for over a year replaced tires,headlights,mass air fkow sensor(twice) trunk lid has came down on my head 4 times.replace front struts,now back ones need replaced,brakes,motor mounts,battery.this car had no engine cover on it,cant see clearly out the back window because of the tint.back seat was ripped so i had it fixed.now i think the transmission is going out.this car feels unsafe and not one you could take on a trip.we hate this car.

Bought my 2.5s Altima 1 year ago and just had the transmission replaced at 67,000 miles. Replaced thank God but still worrisome as the car only has 67,000 miles.

Great car so far! My previous car was a 2010 Nissan Altima SL, and like my new car , a 2015 Nissan Altima SL are good vehicles! Would buy again!

I am a Toyota and Lexus fan but a dealer offered me a good deal. I have 2012 Nissan Altima SE. I bought it new and so far so good. Currently is 77,500 miles, I just changed transmission fluid and spark plugs by myself and planning to change serpentine too but there is no sign of cracking. It’s a bit scary when i saw a lot of complaining about CVT transmission. I have had clicking sound underneath when driving about 300 yards since day one and brought it back to a dealer and was told there was nothing wrong.

I've never experienced a vehicle was so undependable so unpredictable I understand that things do happen but when the manufacturer and the dealership act like they don't understand when you got thousands of post on the internet complaining about the same transmission problem and other overall safety problems how can that be something is permitted who oversees the regulations and safety of the American people thank you

I was up until last night, as happy with my Altima as a lark but while driving on highway at 1 am my rpms went from 1.5 to 6.0 the car stuttered and wouldn't go waited for a tow for 2 hours. Earlier I put an OBD 2 reader on it and there were not a one code nothing was wrong at all and then this transmission failed out of the blue.

I purchased a Nissan Altima in November 2019 and just one month later I had the first experience of what would be a recurring issue: when I pressed on the gas, the car wouldn't accelerate and would eventually come to a complete stop. I had this issue occur 4 times, and each time I got a different diagnosis and repair. The fourth time it happened, in July of 2022 Nissan advised a $3000 head gasket replacement, which I agreed to. I picked it up and two hours later, the same issue occurred again. That was the last straw and I sold it back to Nissan. Not only was the vehicle unsafe and unreliable, Nissan customer service was horrible. Some of my repairs were under warranty, but in less than 3 years I had $5000 worth of repairs performed on a vehicle that only had 75,000 miles on it when I got rid of it. Avoid Nissan.

This is my 6th Nissan and I love the Altima. It is very reliable and comfortable on a long trip. The maintenance on it is very easy.

This 2.5 has major issues with the AC system. My daughter has a 2014, and two other friends 2014 and 2015 all ac systems down or not cooling as normal. I’m looking up recalls for this Nissan. My other Nissan was a 3.5 and never had an issue!! It lasted over 340,000 miles!

I love this car! It has been one of the most reliable cars that I have ever owned! My car has 246,098 miles on odometer!
