Explore the 2007 Nissan Sentra

My Nissan Sentra 2007 has 159+K miles.

My Nissan Sentra 2007 has 159+K miles. One day I was driving to my appointment. It was traffic bumper to bumper. I press the brake and bam car won't move. I was lucky I was yards away from my mechanic so they towed it. They diagnose it and found that the issue was the transmission. They don't do tranny so I had to get my car towed 21 miles away. Problem is the wait was long but my mechanic was nice enough to store my car at their lot I steady of bring to my home 18 miles away, then coming back 3 weeks later to tow it to the transmission place. I ask myself is it really worth keeping this car. I found that Honda is the best. My 2010 Honda Fit with 199K miles has never given me a problem besides replacing battery and starter. I maintain all my vehicle.

Most reliable car I’ve ever owned

This car I met all of my needs. Plenty of regular legroom, plenty of space in the trunk, parts are cheap to fix. I would buy this car right now again if I could

Most reliable car I've owned

Extremely reliable, great gas mileage, safe car. It was perfect for us for 10 years. Put over 140K miles on it with no issues. I'm a Nissan owner for life.

Great first car for a teenager

Bought a 2007 Nissan Sentra as my first car. It was used obviously and looks great and runs great for its age. It's interior is simple and clean and the exterior is clean, it is also good on gas which is a huge plus.

Takes a lickin? and keeps on tickin!

I bought my 07 Sentra back in 2010 preowned with 54k miles on it. As of 7/1/18 I have 179,986 miles on it and still running strong! It is a base model 2.0 that didn?t have anything fancy aside from killer speakers and you couldn?t tell it was running when it was on. As far as repairs go, only one issue was major and it was a factory recall and Nissan covered it 100% - I believe the 07-09 were affected with an overheating transmission, so they installed a cooling unit and the service would have been $2200 had it not been covered. So if you own one and start to lose power and it starts to whine on acceleration, take her in to Nissan to have the cooling unit installed. Other than that, everything else was my fault! I spun it out twice, curbed it a few times (Ice and snow), installed a cold air intake and immediately hydro locked it (about 50k miles ago) had new gaskets, plugs, boots etc replaced. I jumped it hitting a bridge too fast and blew-out the passenger front end and rear passenger wheel bearing. I just finally replaced the shocks and struts and will be doing the cv axles just because. It still runs great! Lower mpg after the hydro lock (about 26-30mpg now) but I won?t be getting rid of it any time soon. Looking forward to another 100k plus out of it! And more than likely when it comes time for a new car, I?ll be getting a brand new Sentra with all the bells and whistles.
