Eh... thats all
Lets be positive first. The car has a great engine 3.5l V6 and it hauls and passes easily. The engine has preformed fantasticly. The Dash board looks like it came from a vette even. Its a tank even after being in an accident in an ice storm it drove over 40miles to home. The integrated information center in the radio is cool, but you can not replace it with an after market system otherwise the car will not drive properly since it has no way to relay messages (seriously haha its kind of funny so just keep it stock). Lets face it though your looking @ a GM no other car maker can fit as much plastic in it. The steering gets off alignment easily just by hitting potholes day in and out the car feels ever bump in the road when on and not on the highway. The "Traction Control" is kind of a joke. All it does is spin both front wheels insanely fast untill you skid into a curb. The keyfob is designed to fail after a few years and the inside hardware actually disintegrates causeing the alarm to go off and on the message center telling you to check your keyfob.. The paint is easy to scratch and I m big into detailing it and keeping it waxed so the paint is still vivid but it chips easy be forewarned. The car itseld averages about 18-21mpg so if you looking for a sports car get one this one sucks just as much gas. If your looking for a cheap fast-ish used car it is ok but just be ready to fix little things here and there.

G6 Convertible is a fun little car!
I've had my G-6 for 2 years and I enjoy every day that I drive it. I have a 100 mile roundtrip commute daily and I love the handling and acceleration of this car. It's fairly quiet with the hard top, I've owned quite a few convertibles. The only faults I have with the car is the heavy top mechanism, means not great gas mileage. I previously had a Malibu and this car isn't as good as the Malibu was. It gets maybe 24/26 highway. The power window button on the passenger side is in a bad spot, if the passenger puts their arm on the rest, they can accidently put the window down. And lastly, the trunk cover has to be completely in place and flat to have the top go down. Otherwise, a great, enjoyable ride. Very quiet with the top down....

G6 Convertible, Fun car!
Love the hard top, very quiet when up, a lot of fun when its down! Comfortable to drive, clean cockpit layout and nice features. Large wheels and tires make it a nice looking car. Pretty quiet and calm for the front passengers with the top down but windy in back. Can feel the back-end "shake" on bumps with top down. Not real "sophisticated" compared to Audi, BMW etc but a great value.

Average Mid Size Car
My G6 has the V6 which is nice for the size of the car. I still average about 25MPG in mixed driving. Acceleration is strong and steering is responsive at high and low speeds. Almost certainly one of the best features is the stock stereo. For the standard option, it sounds great and is easy to use. The handling is great even in snow, as long as you drive smart the car feels confident. I have done trips over 4 hours long and the seats are not great but they are not the worst I have sat in. I am about 6?3? and I have plenty of room in the car. I don?t drive close to the steering wheel and I don?t have to put the seat all the way back. The back seat has lots of space also. I have ridden in the back seat and have had no problem getting in or out. Trunk space is good and the layout of the space is smart and can easily fit 2 set of golf clubs in the back. Overall it is a great car for everyday use. I do have a couple of issues that could be deal breakers. I did not buy this car new but I have driven over 20k miles since I bought it. The first thing I notice is how terrible the transmission is. A 4 speed is just enough for the V6. I feel like the car wants to go but the transmission can?t make up its mind with its limited gear selection. I am sure the 5 speed helps a little with this in the GT and GXP models. One problem I have had and other owners I have talked to is the rotors and bearings are poor in quality. If you do get this car I would replace them with new ones once any of these go bad. Repairs will be expensive but well worth it because ride quality and braking feels even better then with factory items. I have the moon roof and it is nice, except if you have the sun shade closed and the roof just vented the sun shade rattles in the roof liner. The noise goes away with the roof open but the rattle is noticeable even with the radio on. The paint is also soft and easily acquires road dings in the front end. I still like this car and it is a good buy, I just don?t love this car.

Great Vehicle!
I have owned the G6 almost for two years now and it has about 45K miles. It is a very comfortable car and very quiet in the highway. I have a family of 5 and I have to say that this mid size car is almost as comfortable as my GMC Sierra crew cab and a lot better on gas of course. Mine is the base model but I love the hubcaps because they look like wheels, the Onstar is one of the best service I have ever had. It definitely comes with all the necessary, including cruise control and pwr windows, lock, mirrors and driver seat. I have only service this car for oil change and tire balance and rotation. It was a great investment specially when the gas prices where over $4 a gallon.

The Best Car Ever..
I bought my Pontiac G6 about 6 months ago and I could not be happier. The fact that it's a GT doesn't hurt, but the power this thing has is great! It's comfortable seating makes a great ride for both the driver and passengers. The back seat has a pretty decent amount of space. The sound system is fantastic as well, which is a huge bonus! The only thing I don't like is the CD player doesn't read MP3s. Other than that, I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone!

Great Highway On The Highway
April 08 I was driving home heading south on the #2 HWY. It was an absolute blizzard outside and as we passed dozens of cars and trucks that had spun off the road into the meridian and got stuck in the snow my G6 handled amazingly well. The traction control is a great feature and the 4 door version of this vehicle is comfortable not only in the front but in the back as well. This car gives a safe feeling and has been very reliable.

Another Bad Egg (like someone else called it)!!
Well, I have been having problems with my G6 even before my 3,000 check up. The dealership where I purchased it promised that GM has the best warranty in the nation (blah blah blah) and that whatever was wrong they would take care of it under warranty. I begged to returned the car and exchange for a new one. Of course, it wasn't granted to me. I have called GM and complaint several times to no avail. So, I opted to get a second opinion on the car since the home dealership never found what was wrong with it. I took it to another Pontiac /GM dealership and sure enough my driver side breaks were defective so they fixed it. At that point, I thought the problem was probably just the dealership where I purchased the car and their failure to service the car accordingly in the first place, so I never went back to my home dealership and stuck it out with this other dealership. Since, I have been in for service EVERY SINGLE MONTH, sometimes TWICE in a month and the car is now 25,000. Luckily the warranty has covered the repairs. But what happens after the warranty no longer picks up the bill? I've had this car serviced from the breaks, to the hubs, to the check engine light on several times, to electrical problems, etc. PLEASE SAVE THE HASSLE! The car price WAS reasonable. However, compared to the hassle, it really a bad car for the money! WALK AWAY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHES!!!
