Boss bought fir company car

Nice handling in V-6 3.6l series. Nice interior and body, good suspension handles turns well at high speeds. Not happy with engine performance and expensive to maintain

Best value for your money

I purchased my grand am 2.4 from at auction for $600 just to make pizza deliveries. It had 215,000 miles on it when i purchased it so i told myself if i got one year out of her, that would be lucky. Well its been almost 3yrs andalmost 6000 deliveries and the only part i needed to replace was a fuel pump and oil sensor...though the water pump just let go recently. These are truly unbelivable cars for people on a tight budget like me!

Best Car I've Driven to Date

Literally fell in love with this car as soon as I saw it on the lot. not a single scratch in detailing outside and in, no weird noises coming from car. brand new tires that were put on by the dealer themselves.

Water falling blues

I biught my 98 2.4 with 140 k. I knew I would the gas tank was leaking when I bough it. Paid 1000. in 2011. All power windows motors had to be replaced. Previous owner got a manual door put on in place of the orginal door because he would not take the time to buy a used door switch after looking for another switch. Had to switch doors and re wire as he cut all the wires for the orginal door. The door locks were frozen from using a key fob allowing the locks to be rusted shut. Had to remove all the ,locks and take them to a lock smith. Six months later the water pump wore out. Its a 1000$ job at gm. I did it myself along with a new timing chain , guides and tensioner. Took me 3 months part time to finish. Rplaced the a/c compressor. I don't regret spending the money on a/c. In 2017 after just 30,000 miles the replaced water p;ump wore out . It should have lasted 80K and it was a Gates pump. Tore it down again and replaced it with gab new one at 50 . from NAPA. Just got it running this april . I lie the handling and the looks. HI would never buy a used 1996 and up 2.4 pontiac, cavalier, alero, in spite that I can install them. Too much hard work. I opt for a v6 gran am

Sturdy, cool looking car...powerful!

Great car...sold it very cheaply to a needy young woman. Enjoyed the GrandAm while we had it. Would purchase a similar car at some other time. Pontiacs feel sturdy and powerful. Sharp detailing and comfortable seating.
