I've owned a dozen sport cars including 911s, the 944 beats them all. It makes a crummy driver like me look good. Forget power to weight ratio, torque is what you want. The 944 delivers everything. Mine increased in value $600- last year. Easy to work on and they don't rust. Step up to Porsche quality, you won't regret it. BTW I am a PCA CVR member and have enjoyed my 944T for 20 years.

The 944 is a great way to start a lifelong relationship with Porsche. Great performance, high reliability, and great parts availability. Still gets looks and comments on the street and there are few cars that can rival performance and fun to drive. Started with the 944 and moved to 911. Porsche fan forever.

I owned one for 5 years, great steering, brakes and adequate power. This car was ahead of its time and feels very modern. can hold 2 adults and 2 children, along with luggage in the hatch; practical for a sports car. It is very comfortable too for long trips. Just service the timing belt and it will last forever.
