Vibration, rust, shuddering etc.

I have owned a lot of new cars and trucks in my life. This is the worst new vehicle i've ever owned. The MDS system shudders between 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder mode, and the transmission vibrates through the floorboard and steering column when the engine is between 1800 and 2200 RPM's. Chrysler customer service is a joke and after many unseccessful attempts at repair they are now saying it operates at spec. Dodge Ram is a piece of junk, i should have stayed with Ford.

Least Reliable Vehicle I've Owned

At 10,000 miles the engine stared knocking severely. The 2012 Ram 1500 has been at the dealership for over a week. They know one of the pistons is not firing, but do not know what is causing the problem or how to fix it. Also the passenger side power window was defective when I drove it off the lot.

Times are changing

If your wondering about this truck get off the couch and go drive one! Im from the gm family. So was a little reluctant to drive one. WAS BLOWN AWAY! Filled out the paperwork right away! Looks great, pulls like a diesel and rides like a car! Looked at many great models but I can say the express is the best bang for the buck! A built in brake controller and factory duals! Are you serious! Purchased it for the price of a 50k used gmc. These days any new truck is good; however, the ram is great! only reason i didn't give it a perfect score not enough miles to give a true reliablity score!

Just STOP and read

5th truck - 1st RAM - 1500 Laramie Crew - Truck War is over, and we have a winner - RAM. Period. I'm stunned by the incredible luxury I drive home in every day. Like sitting in a lazy boy sofa, driving on a cloud. I'm not kidding. Try one. There's so much leg room in the (heated) back seats its enough for full grown men. The NAV / 9 in touch screen, hands free phone, 10 speaker (speaker box is Bose tuned) stereo is so easy to use. I actually drive with my head resting on the headrest it sooo comfortable, luxurious and quality everywhere. The FREE spray in bedliner, dual exhausted rear end is muscular - throaty idle like a muscle car, and the truck won't drive behind a Ford or Toyota, not with a 5.7 Hemi Challenger. 2 seconds on the floor and bye - bye Titan. In 2013, an 8 speed transmission will get 24 mpg, so thats my only complaint for the 2012. IF you even think of another truck after driving this, you'll regret you ever stepped out of the RAM.

Best Vehicle

I owned a couple of F-150's and come from a Ford family. I have to say, this truck is awesome. I have never written a review on a truck before. I have the 1500 Outdoorsman. Obviously it is brand new and there is that "new vehicle feeling" with any new vehicle, but this truck rides great, looks great, is super fast with the 5.7 Hemi, and overall I love driving it. Can't say enough.

RAM 1500 Crew Laramie

I purchased this moderately loaded RAM and havent stopped shaking my head. The soft leather interior is lush, heats 4 seats and steering wheel so fast, and has so much ! Im stunned. IS THIS REALLY A DODGE ? Everything is where it should be, and VERY easy to use. From the touch screen NAV, SAT, Blue tooth so I can call and talk handsfree, to functioning the displays, radio, and climate from the steering wheel or touch screen. There are bins, and storage areas - 4 closed bins in the front row, and 4 in the second row. Did I mention the room in the second row is got to be designed for like (3) 250 lb people - easily !! The leg room and heated second row seats make being in the back row like a chauffuer. Truck growls and accerates like a Challenger (has same engine), has firm control, strong braking, 4X4 locks both rear wheels, and tows my boat like its not even there. Bed is sprayed and protected and I was able to load my 4 wheeler, guns and 3 deer home no problem. RAM has done something it has never done before. It built a truck better than a Ford or GMC for a lower price. Dont even put Toyota or Nissan on the same level. Dont believe their hype. I am tickled to get this truck under $35 K.
