At 40,000 miles, the oil pump died. $2,000 to repair. At 50,000 miles cylinder 1 ignition coil and fuel injector have malfunctioned. $110 just to diagnose and estimated $760 to repair, Avoid the 3.6 liter at all cost.

My only problem is changing a headlight bulb you need to be a mechanic. Probably one of the hardest to replace on any vehicle. Half to take apart a lot just to get to it. Completely ridiculous.

I purchased a 2017 Rebel from the show room floor and haven't been disappointed. We've put 115k miles on it in 7 years and have no issues or complaints. I use it for light towing at times and have had no issues but mostly it's a daily driver. Great power, spacious and comfortable interior. Only a couple things I don't like, 1. the door hinges are junk and squeak most all the time. 2. the tiny led light that shines down on the center console cannot be turned off or dimmed. 3. Mopar service departments are the worst!! I can tell SOOO many stories of how our local Mopar service department in Brownsburg, Indiana should be run out of business!! Estes Dodge...don't waste your time!

Since I’ve had my 2017 ram which I purchased new.
Since I’ve had my 2017 ram which I purchased new. It has been tied up in the shop a few times. Two times for the back up camera two times for navigation issues, it has been tied up for a valve tap, which I told them was associated with the exhaust manifold leak from a broken manifold bolt. But Dodge decided to do a valve job on the truck. No complaints there since it was covered under warranty. Also, I had an axle replaced in the warranty. And numerous window issues on the driver side, coming off the track when it was extremely cold out. The rides beautiful. But I believe I have bought my last ram. I recently experienced electric power steering failure. Besides the fact that nobody has the part because it’s on a national backorder the price of the unit from Chrysler $3000 without the install. This is because it is one piece and has a computer chip attached to it. All use parts are approximately $2400. so two weeks without my truck searching for used part for it finally was able to get the truck back on the road. I think the Chevys are nicer looking.

Bought it at 40k miles no issues so far.
Bought it at 40k miles no issues so far. Over 100k now. I have the ram boxes on the sides for my everyday tools, spacey crew cab seats. 4wd, loud alpine speakers. I average 17 mpg. I recently had a base model 2014 ram that went over 170k miles and all I ever did was change the oil (synthetic) every 5k miles. Not 1 issue. Never had any problems with my ram trucks.

Recycling at its best.
Worst truck I’ve ever owned. Motor went at 140,000, body rusted out on side panels, passenger seat is the most uncomfortable seat ever being that you have to sit awkward because of the uneven floor. Also have electrical issues, sensor issues, and let me tell you, try diagnosing them! I’m sure garages made billions off labour and parts. Now transmission is sticking in gear. This truck is made with recycled garbage we paid China to take off our hands and they resold us our garbage in the form of a dodge and all it’s parts. Recycle is xxxxxxxx. How about just make good quality items , instead of xxxxxxx every dollar out of the general public to play pass the garbage around.

Air suspension failure!
Air suspension fails in cooler climate. Ram refuses to help. Very common problem with this model. Absolute worst customer care out there. Run away from this vehicle. I will never buy a Ram truck again.

Not Reliable
I bought this 2017 Ram 1500 with 16000 miles on it. I had no problem with the truck until now. At 54000 miles on it a rod went in the engine requiring a engine replacement. The truck is 1 year out of warranty. The cost for replacement is 14000 dollars This is totally Unacceptable.

Diesel Engine Expensive/unreliable
The DPF Filter continues to fail over and over again. IT is very expensive to maintain. One issue leads to another with this Diesel engine.... The HEMI Ram offers is great, the Diesel however is very unreliable.
