2017 RAM 1500 consumer reviews

When pulling my trailer and going down hill I set trailer brakes to 0 and have to pull trailer down hill not sure if it’s a transmission problem but it also stays up in 4 RPMs till I hit gas paddles then it drops can someone shed light to this problem and when shifting to anything from park to anything there is a clicking sound comes from steering column when I pull gear handle forward? I purchase it at 24000 miles it’s a 2017 2500 Dodge Ram gas .

Much smoother ride then most in the same class. Got it used so it already had all the bells and whistles added to it which was huge!

My new truck meets all of my expectations. When I was looking for a new truck, I never thought that I would be able to afford a truck with all of the features that it has. I have found my dream truck.

I have only owned this truck for a month but so far I am very impressed. It has a smooth ride, is very comfortable, good power for a V6, looks great inside and out.

First and foremost is I am a fan of Dodge/Ram products. Like other dodge products I've owned I am enjoying this truck. I purchased this truck used (2017 with 22,000) and it runs how you would expect from a mostly used truck. I like the additional storage compartments. It is roomy with being able to store fishing poles that will not break down it we need to. So far I have only hauled one load of firewood but it seems to handle the weight good. I purchased the truck because I am planning to haul a camper trailer in the next year or so, and we enjoy camping, fishing, and hunting. This truck, probably like most trucks, will do the job. Again I purchased the used truck because it is nearly new with a good price and I like Dodge/Ram products.

I've owned a lot of trucks every brand and so far this seems to be the one that just keeps going and doesn't nickel and dime me. Great truck

plenty of power from the 5.7 V-8, good MPG 18+ very comfortable, smooth riding. No problems in 65,000 miles. I have the 3:92 gear ratio, and it has lots of towing capability. The Crew Cab has very good back seat room.

Just bought it, but have owned a dodge nitro for 8 years and love it, so was very happy to purchase another. The truck is comfortable, smooth, well appointed, and very attractive. Looking forward to many years of Dodge owning.

My 2000 F-150 was on it's last leg so I decided to get a fairly new truck. Found a 2017 4x4 Express Ram, only real options are limited slip rear, HEMI, and 20" wheels. It is a beautiful bright blue and not a single blemish. My daily driver is/was a 2013 Lexus GS-350 AWD, my wife now drives most of the time because I love my truck. It's quiet, runs strong, and fun to drive. I replaced the factory speakers in all the doors, sounds awesome now. Put a bed rug in it and a 3 section bed cover. No complaints at all except I wish it had electric seats. It is our spare vehicle so I cannot complain. I would but another one in a heartbeat, great truck.

Great fit for me and my family. Good comfort and overall performance. The 6 cylinder has great power and acceleration. Glad I found it when I did
