2017 RAM 1500 consumer reviews

This is my second RAM truck and I have been impressed by the quality, workmenship and design of this truck. Years ago I would have never bought a Dodge product but now they have improved so much in all catagories that I have no problem in owning them. I like the radio/NAV system and the Uconnect funtionality. It has the best ride quality of all the full size trucks that I have tried.

Well its been a week since I traded in my Chrysler 300C for a 2017 ram 1500 sport. And I have to say that so far so good. It's really hard to go from a Chrysler 300c to any other vehicle. The 300 is an amazing vehicle. It's has e wry bell and whistle possible. Right down to the double pained ceramic coated windows. This car is great. With the v6 it had unbelievable gas mileage. So needless to say it's been a good transition to the ram 1500 sport. The Hemi helps get your mind off the fact that right off the bat you not in a 300 anymore. Now even though the dashboards are similar that's where the the similarities end. The uconnect is the same both do not have apple car play. Which you have to get a 2018 to get that. Still a head scratcher to me. The 300's file mileage was unreal. On the highway I was getting over 550 miles on a full tank. ( what what what????) yup 550 miles.now the hemi hasn't been broke in yet so I can't determine the actual miles on the highway yet. But other then that the only bummer that I can think of right now is the price. It's 51000 price tag will hurt your wallet every month. But besides that I thing your going to love it. One mistake I made was getting the truck with a 3:55 rear diff fears. I should have got the 3:92 gears. Then it would have been a rocket ship.

I love the performance of the vehicle however I had transmission issues starting the second day. Would not go into reverse. Chrysler tried putting in a new valve body but that didn't do the trick. Finally after waiting almost 3 weeks (without the truck) they finally put in a new transmission. They say it is the first time this has ever happened.

My 2017 Ram Rebel 4x4 has everything you could ever need. All of the rugged benefits of a big 4x4, with the sleek look and hard charging Hemi engine. The air ride system gives the ride smooth and easy like I?m a Cadillac with the hard core off road package. The dual exhaust gives the perfect growl needed. The interior has every bell and whistle. Navigation system, back up camera, heated seats and steering wheel, and Alpine sound system w/subwoofer and amp. The attention to detail on the seats and trim package is amazing, right down to the red stitching on the steering wheel. Factory extras even included spray on bedliner and heavy duty black nerf bars. This truck has it all, and best of all, it came this way from the factory. Best truck EVER. Hands down

I had a 2015 Eco diesel. Liked it. I thought I could get a good deal on a 2017. Now very unhappy. Bought to use as a work truck and now has been broke down 1 month out of owning it 3 months

I would like to see on board WiFi available on this Truck. I believe tow hooks should have been a standard item, I should not have to have gotten stuck to then realize it didn't come equipped with front tow hooks.

I have driven Dodge trucks for over 20 years now and this new 2017 Ram 1500 has reinforced my satisfaction with these trucks.

This truck gets the job done! Been used for many things and this winter have used it to plow snow. The 5.7 Hemi in it gives plenty of power and handling is great. Nothing like plowing snow in a great truck and in comfort as well with heated seats and steering wheel! Awesome truck overall with as many features as a luxury car at half the price!

Ram Larimie is supposed to be better equipped than big Horn but NOT They took running boards off,no gps/smaller gas tank/no sencors in bumpers/cheaper exaust system and yet charge more???? Something wrong with that picture!!!
