2017 RAM 1500 consumer reviews

I used to have Fords until I test drove a Ram. I have now owned a few of these Rams since 2011 and have never had any issues. Anyone looking to buy a new truck should consider a Ram, best bang for your buck BY FAR! Ten of my friends and family members have converted from Ford/GM to Ram and couldn't be happier.

We have the 3.92 axle and the Crew Cab, 5'7" bed with Tow Package. Beautiful ride quality, handling and interior and exterior design. Very carefully looked at Chev, Ford and Ram. Ram offered the best towing power for our needs (and we tow all the time), a large comfortable crew cab and does not look like a square box. The Ram Hemi 5.7 engine is dependable and has proven performance. The handling of the truck appealed to my wife also. Dealership experience was super with a wonderful saleswoman.

Smooth ride, quality build, and excellent value. Very roomy. The 5.7 Hemi engine with 8speed tranny is very responsive.

Lots of room with the crew cab, love storage bins in floor of back seat. Gas mileage good for V8 21-24

Had a 2016 2500; downsized only because I don't have a need for the 2500 any longer. Excellent ride, smooth shifting, good acceleration. Love it!

The 17 Ram hits does everything you could want in a truck. It just doesn't do any of them very well. Build quality is pretty bad. There are so many poorly installed components on my truck that I don't even want to waste my time having them repaired. I will likely just trade it in when the tags expire. My advice would be that you don't sign anything at a dealer until the truck is in a 100% new saleable condition.

I love it. Dodge ram is clearly the best truck I have ever driven. I have driven Ford, Chevy , Toyota, Nissan. Dodge ram is my first choice.

I like this truck a lot. It's comfortable, looks awesome, drives great, has great features, and tows a trailer easily.
