Ride quality is great

A lot of improvement from previous models. Rides nice and handles great. I bought a diesel. 28MPGs on average. Pros: Very quite, lots of room. Cons: 12 inch Infotainment is already having issues. Will freeze, go dim for no reason, abruptly shuts off Rough shifting when cold. Would still recommend this truck.

Beautiful, lots of tech, ouch on the lane keep

Four years ago I would’ve bought a larger truck but they didn’t have technology so I went with the Honda ridgeline. I wanted more clearance more off-road so it was time to move to the ram. I have the ram 1500 rebel, with pretty much everything on it. Beautiful truck I only got the V6 because I never told anything. I’m giving the mileage some more time right now it’s reporting 14.5 with a mix of Highway and city. There’s a few minor things that annoying annoying and one large thing. You can program the side mirrors to go down when you go in reverse but they both go down you can’t just pick one most people need to see down on the passenger side and straight back on the driver side my Ridgeline you could pick which one to go down. Minor but annoying, I’ve actually switched to using the surround cameras to back out on my steep driveway. The truck has lots of storage but a simple cubby to sit things when you’re driving, no really. I’m 6’6”, seat all the way back, adjusted petals always forward my foot still rust on them when my legs stretched out. The armrest is like 2 inches wide not a lot of room for a big guys arm and I’m skinny skinny tall guy. The dash lights go from really dim to dim and then really bright I really want someplace between the dim and the really bright. The heads up display is fantastic I didn’t know how I’d like it but I really like it and the programming is flexible for what you want displayed. The only full USBs or next to each other in the front of the center consul the one in the back of the center consul where you might want to hide your iPod out of site, it’s just for charging, really ram? The panoramic sunroof is beautiful, some nights I get home tired and just want to recline the seat and stare at the stars. Now that big thing, something they call lane keep, I would call lane pong. All that technology, cameras, sensors, ability to turn the steering wheel, and all the lane keep is, a system that when you cross a line it turns the wheel so you move away from that line. That’s it, just like a pong video game. No finesse, no attempt to keep you in the center of the lane, just to steer you away from the one you crossed. Of course you then shoot over to the other lane and it does the same thing back to the other lane I’m thinking if you let it go your truck would roll. All that extra money technology to do something that would probably be safer to just have a beep when you crossed a line. My Ridgeline you could take your hands off the steering wheels for 20 seconds before he told you to hold the steering wheel again and then that time it kept you in the center of the lane, just enough time to put on Chapstick. The Ridgeline has four year old technology. I keep turning off the Rams sensor because my wrist is tired fighting it literally has no in-between it’s either turning or not turning. This is the kind of thing where you want to find the offices where the ram engineers are sitting and go throw stuff at them. Although since my Ridgeline was made in Arkansas, it’s not really the workers it’s that the company is being run by idiots. When you’re on a long trip and you have a quality lane keep, or what I thought was the standard until I got in Ram, a long trip you didn’t get wrist fatigue because the truck always kept you in the center lane assisting your steering. $67K for a truck with pong video software for Lane keep, you screwed that one RAM.

Last week I purchased my 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition. It has amazing styling (both inside and out) and rides like a luxury SUV.

This truck is all it is made out to be and the 5.7L Hemi is awesome. Very nice body style and the comfortable seats are great on a long drive. I highly recommend this truck to anyone in the market lookng for a truck.

Wonderful design and technology.

This truck is awesome. I got the Limited edition which has many, many features. The truck has a massive screen to show all items and allow control. It is the most comfortable and quiet truck I've ever driven.

Ram 1500 level 1 big horn - great truck

I have a 2021 ram 1500 big horn level 1. My truck was harder to locate because I need the crew cab hemi with the 3.92 gearing as I use it for towing. Great truck. The e-torque is interesting technology. I was hesitant at first about it but I think it’s great so far. I came from a 2017 ram 1500 express and I noticed a big difference in ride quality and interior quality from the 17 express to the 21 big horn. I with the level 1 big horn came with better wheels, but other than that it’s a great truck.
