Luxury motoring

This car is an elegant machine. A bit of a land yacht but has ample power to get you down the road. At 80 mph I averaged 19 miles to the gallon. Probably only does about 15 mpg in town

Best Rolls Ever built

Incredible handling and performance for a big car. BMW's M73 V12 engine is the smoothest most luxurious sounding engine ever to be installed in a Rolls, I was able to balance a nickel on the top of the engine while it was idling, it stayed there until I removed it about 30 sec. later. The engine does not vibrate. This car is 900lbs lighter than the previous and quite troublesome Silver Spur/ Silver Dawn/ Silver Wraith models. this car has a 50/50 % front to rear weight balance like a BMW and you can really feel that in hard corners, it is glued to the road. the interior is incredible too with all the beautiful wood and leather, even the headliner on mine is leather. Despite the previous reviewers claims of plastic in the car, I haven't found any...Everything is covered in leather. even the dashboard top. I just checked the center hood chrome strip on my 2000 Seraph and it is definitely a cast metal piece very heavy and shiny, not a scratch on it. thick chrome. all in all this is the best car that Rolls-Royce ever built . it is also the last model to be built at Rolls-Royce's Crewe Factory, where all Rolls were traditionally built by hand.

UNDER - STATED ELEGANCE

I have a 2001 ...All Black ...couldn't be happier ! Very few issues ...of course, I maintain my cars to perfection...costly, but totally worth it ! A Low-Mileage Seraph with proper service records would represent "A Lot Of Car" for the money ! Buy one & Drive it with years of Enjoyment !

The New PLASTIC Rolls Royce

I purchased a low milage, 2 year old Seraph. After the warranty was over almost anything and everything stopped working or broke. The lights for airbags and engine always coming on and service claims nothing wrong, probably grounds shorting. yearly service on repairs over $5K, Yes, it's an enjoyment to look down the hood and see the looks of passer-bys...yes everyone stares and coments...The worst part of the car is almost everything that looks chrome is actually PLASTIC...breaking &cracking...mirrors in the back are actually plastic mirror...it'd truly an over expensive TOY car. The fact that at the price it was sold at, they used plastic pieces is so degreading to the owners who find out the chrome piece down the hood is SOLID PLASTIC...SAD but true, wind noise and all it's not a REAL Rolls...forget about the clock being louder than the noise outside...and clinking and clanking all around the car when moving. I only hope the New Phantom is better...This truly is a PLASTIC insult to the classic Rolls Royce of the past. Save your money and buy an older model with low miles and maintanace records.
