Very fun car
I was saving up for my next car after owning a ford explorer for three years. I was determined to find a car that had style, was luxurious, practical, and had great performance. I have to say this car has all of the above. It wasn't hard to notice the difference of my explorer and fixing it every other month, wondering if it was going to run rather than starting up the Saab and knowing it's going to run. I was lucky to get it for such a steal which made it even better. It's a six speed manual arc and is extremely fun to drive. Aside from very minor things about this car such as the pealing paint on the dash overtime, and the occasional electronic problem (as to be expected with such a high tech car), its a great car the i know will start up and run great with almost no mechanical problems. Trust me when i say after 80,000 miles of use there have been no major problems, and this car is pure pleasure that keeps me looking back at it whenever Im walking into work or my house. Don't shy away from this car because of other peoples problems when most of everyone's reasons are minor things that shouldn't sway your decision.

Drove it and loved it.
I may sound like a homer but I am actually one of those people that loves the car I have. I purchased my Saab used and it is the only thing I look forward to in the early morning when getting up for work. I get myself motivated by the fact that I have a 45 minutes Plus commute to get to work and I get to drive my Saab. I own a Saab 93 2.0T Manual. This car is a breeze to drive. It is sleek and very aerodynamic. Drove through hurricane force winds and never felt the car budge on traction and handling. The traction control is a great feature for steep inclines on very wet roads when taking off from a complete stop. This car handles great and has a great deal of get up and go. My Saab came with leather heated seats, CD player, and awesome stereo system to boot (all stock). The back seat is very comfortable and comfortably seats 3 average sized people. The safety rating on this car is pretty high likely due to its driver and passenger side airbags as well as side airbags. The trunk is cavernous and the back seats fold down to transport longer objects. It also has a ski hatch middle-back-seat door. This allows me to transport my hockey sticks and still fit the rest of my gear in the trunk. There is plenty of debate as to what type of gas to use on these Saabs on the web but from my experience using the mid-grade gas is the way to go. I don't notice performance loss between the premium and mid-grade. I get on average 31 mpg between 50% of city and 50% of Highway driving. I use to be a Saturn and VW fan but since test driving the Saab and now owning it I am a convert to Swedish sexy beast. I love the body styling and just about everything about my Saab.

bad choice!!
I have a saab 9-3 and it was the biggest mistake I have ever done in my life. the car looks very nice from outside and inside but it will give a problm every week. last week I spend 2500 dollars becasue my turbo broke down so I had to buy a new one for the car. now the locks are not working and a bunch of other things and I have to spend another 1500 to fix it. The car is just GARBAGE!!!!!!

Great Fun to own a Saab
We purchased the convertible 9-3 off lease and have been very pleased. The 4 cylinder turbo is a very powerful engine and economical to drive.

I owne one
I have this car now and am quite enamored with it. It handles curves like it is on rails. It can take curves beyond my comfort level. It is quick and responsive in manual mode. I am not impressed with the full auto mode. Interior is quite nice. The electronics are odd to say the least but this is a Saab. The exterior is dated by 2009 standards.

Imports are Gr8!
I absolutely love my Saab! It handles well in cold weather conditions and when driving on icy roads in North Dakota! It is comfortable to drive and as a passenger. The backseat leg room is a little shallow, but for the average sized person it is fine. The car does well on long trips and constantly updates your gas usage ratio depending on where you are driving. I love this car!

Very fun yet very cranky...
I?ve owned my 2003 Saab 9-3 Vector Model for 2 years now and have about 76,000 miles on it. The car runs and drives fantastic. The power and response form the 210 Horsepower turbo engine is great and it handles like a sports car. The interior is impressive with the cool features and nice appointed leather seats, but the dashboard is a bit cheap looking with all the buttons and black plastic. It doesn?t look like a high end car from the driver?s seat. The seats are very comfortable but the leg room in the back seat is tight. The manual 6 speed transmission is very responsive and turbo lag is very minimal. The only issues I have the car is how cranky it is, The onboard computer reads problems and it seem that every time I turn on the car it is posting a new problem. The car will tell you, every time you turn the key ,that your headlight is out., or it will read low engine oil, or ESP malfunction, or locking mechanism malfunction, or fill coolant, or contact Saab Dealer. None of these systems ever had a true issues since the first few time it came on I called the dealer, but the computer thinks it does. The ?Clear? button is complete wore away from pushing it several times per trip. Depreation is sickining. I paid $24,000 2 years ago with 28,000 miles, now i can get $10,000 for it...

Excellent car
Great car! Handles excellently especially in poor weather, great miles per gallon in the upper thirties. Very comfortable and definitely one of the most stylish cars on the road.
