Awesome car!

My 2006 Saab 93 Aero is awesome, I tested BMW, Infinite and Cadillac and the WINNER is: Saab. You will be hard pressed to find a more exciting, agressive handling, sporty looking vehicle. With the six-speed tranny, trionic shifting (finger controls and shifter) this car has ample energy and power to run with all of the cars in the class

Great car and a great value

I have driven many contential cars before. I had the impression that only establish brands and makes are the better cars. I have been following the Saab 95 and 93 reviews for the past 2 years. I did test drives on both the models. I found the saab 93 a 'complete' car as it has all the attributes to be a great auto mobile. I live in the tropics where the daily temperture ranges from 29 to 35 degree. The humidity is around 95% cars. I am enjoying every bit of my priced procession. The after service is great. I am usally treated as a VIP at each visit to the service centre. The staff are very professional and their knowlege of the vehicle is superb. What I like about the Saab 93 is the external styling is not 'loud' but what lies under the bonnet is a 'marvel' of an engine.

Can you say V-6 Turbo!

First of all, I've always liked the exterior styling and uniqueness of Saab's but was skeptical on the power and performance of the vehicle as compared with other German cars. I had a complete change of heart when I test drove the Saab 9-3 Aero with the turbo V-6 engine. The car moves like few cars do. The highway passing acceleration of the car is fantastic. There are few cars even with V-8 engines that can match this car's acceleration. And the handling is on par with the most German and Japanese sport sedans. The brakes are very powerful and reassuring. You also get many luxury features standard that would be extra options on most other cars. This car is a real bargain and the gas mileage is pretty descent and I'm talking regular gas, not premium. Read the manual, only 87 octane required...fantastic.

Surprise

As an long time Saab driver, I was skeptical of the new revisions. The 2003 revision was tinny and didn't give the same solid drive as my older 900 and 9/3. The 2006 is solid, quick and is a car you like to drive pretty hard. Only thing missing is the larger trunk space from the old 5 door hatch...almost forgot about it...time heals all wounds
