This car stands out

I own a 9-3 sport combi (wagon). This car is red a really stands out on the road or in the parking lot. We really love its combination of performance, comfort and convenience. With almost 70,000 miles it has proven to be very reliable. Saab was owned by GM so parts are not hard to come by for this model.

So comfortable!

This car was great and FAST! the 9-3T was perfect for me and so stylish! Not too expensive either! Definitely a good purchase! Still have the car and it has over 100,000 miles. Will run it until 200,000 I'm sure!

Absolutely loved this car

So sad to be typing about this car in a past tense manner. Absolutely loved the car. V6 turbo 6 speed with leather heated seats? What more can you ask for. Try finding a car like that nowadays under 20k....you can't. Bought the car 5 years ago with 70k miles and never had any engine or transmission problems at all. It had great torque and the turbo was very strong, all the while the interior gave you that luxury feeling. If you can find the Aero model in manual 6 speed get it! You won't regret it

Great Value for the Money

I bought a used 2007 Saab 9-3 6 speed as my first car and I am learning how to drive manual. It runs great even though it is 10 years old. The interior is stylish and the leather has held up for the most part. The exterior is simple but in my opinion it looks better than most new cars. An automatic car as nice as this manual would have cost twice as much.

Value for money, nothing beats a 9-3 Aero

If you're looking for a 250hp sport sedan, a 9-3 aero is the best for the money. Powerful 2.8t engine and a sporty yet comfortable suspension. Just make sure to change the oil very frequently and use 93 gas.

Best car for the value and a fine car

This car is incredibly fine and it is truly not an expensive car. It is a classy car that has some real power under the engine and gets the expected MPGs for the power. 19 C 28 HW. It handles like a formula 1 as well. It looks sleek and is a great competitor for the BMW, Mercedes Benz, AUDI, VW, Volvo and a few others.

Most legant, reliable car I have driven.. EVER!!!

It is incredibly reliable and a great car with amazing power and MPGs are surprising for the power the engine has! Very classy and nothing to envy from any other classy European sports sedans of its kind such as Audi A 4, Mercedes Benz C class, BMW 3 series, Volvo S 60, Volkswagen Passat, Jaguar S Type, etc. It has a great kick when one needs the power and it rides like a Cadillac! Incredibly fun to drive! Once you own a SAAB, 9 out of 10 people will never change! It is odd but none the less I am sure it is true!

Great car so far

Aero Sportcombi stage 0 vtuned; have had the car for a year and it's been a great car so far. Great handling, fantastic acceleration (v-tune has been reliable so far although the front tires can't handle the amount of torque (~360lb-ft)) awesome convinience with the sportcombi. There's really not much to dislike besides the gas mileage. I get about 17mpg city/26mpg highway. I tend to average around 19-20, about two less during the winter time. Currently, these cars are a steal and the parts aren't difficult to replace since most are GM; I would jump on one if you can find one in great shape.

GR8 Car!

First of all, I've owned both BMW and Merc. Prior to buying this SAAB I once again test drove the '07 3 series Bimmer and the C Class Merc and after driving the 07 SAAB 9-3 Aero, it was a home run. This car is a gr8 performer and the price I paid (>16k affter purchasing a warranty) w/28k mi. I felt like I stole it. Resale is not gr8 so be aware if that matters to you. I am 6'3", 232# and I am comfortable in the cockpit unlike the 4 door C Class. This brand is often overlooked because of its badge (GM/SAAB), but don't let that steer you away if you are looking for a gr8 car on a budget. I was a little worried (concerning parts availability) after the sales person told me that SAAB closed it's doors for good, but I still could not walk away from this performer. I spoke with my mechanic and he assured me that he could still get parts so I'm happy. Do yourself a favor and don't concern yourself with what other americans drive. Afterall, 5 series Bimmers are taxi cabs in Europe and so are Merc/Chrysler, need I say more. Decide for yourself and drive home happy, happy, happy especially if your commute involes highway driving. Whether you go manual mode or just slam the pedal that makes you feel warm and fuzzy; you're at 90 mph before you can say gosh darn! Turbo-licious! Passing other commuters won't be a problem. If I could make a change it would be the auto shifter. Looks way cheap. Other than that, I'm a SAAB "SNAAB". The five spoke wheels are sharp and the 235/45-17 Pirelli P6's are good performers. Enjoy the friendly skies "KimoSAABez"! 9-3 AEROplane. :)
