Love my smart car!

Easy parking and great maneuverability (turns on a dime!). Rather jerky to drive at first, but got used to it. Drives like a standard on automatic. Feels/sounds like a little sports/race car to me. Getting used to avoiding manholes and potholes in road, because impact is harsh! Love driving it though! Great mileage. Gas cost reasonable. Tons of room for such a tiny car! Seating comfortable, even for taller passengers. Roomy cargo space. Love how it looks and how people look at it, haha!

Brilliant City Car!

Perfect for city driving and of course parking, so many more options! I do drive out of town a few times a month, too. Handles fine at 70+mph. Excellent gas mileage. (I get around 40 mpg). Seat design handles surprisingly well for even tall people (I've had 6'5" passenger ride with no complaints). Weird to see reviews complain that it's small. I love the "Manu-matic" drive option, since I've always driven stick. You can use paddles on steering wheel or the gear shift itself to change gears. Very handy! Love the design. Very stylish!

I love my Smart for two

We love this little well engineered, very efficient gas user two passenger car! We have had it for 5 years as we bought it used. We replaced the tired and have done normal oil changes, tire rotations, spark plugs etc. But virtually no maintenance

Conversation piece

Wasn't a bad car I would buy another one ... It's probably not for the guy living on a farm or a rough road area but was great for the here and there trips in town

45mpg in town......Daily driver 50 miles daily...

Not a bad little car, I enjoy driving it ,the first 3 gears are a little jerky like in all smarts , just know what you?re getting into , as the computer learns your driving style it adjusts and gets smoother after like 600 miles, maintain speed up big hills no problem, on a windy day it will be blown around a little bit , rain no problem, haven?t seen snow yet... If you?re considering this car I recommend you test drive it for 24 hours first.. Take it on your daily routes first before you decide ,it?s a acquired taste but could get old fast..Highways are little different make sure you test drive it on the highway beforehand might be your deciding factor...You have to run 93 octane or higher to get 45mpg , no cheap GAS!! Will run terrible.. 9 gallon tank gets over 400 miles .. People tend to stare a lot at the car, It?s a glorified go-kart ..If your a defensive driver you?ll be fine....

smart car

Great small car but to small for my needs, would make a great tow vehicle. Need a rear seat or more storage area .

We won this car!

Love our little Smart car. Perfect for Fred and I and the cats. It has more room than you think it does. We have a LOT of cats, and buy around $250-$300 of cat food and groceries, a lot of big cat food bags and litter, etc., but it all fits in the back of the car. While it doesn't drive as smoothly as some other cars, it fits in every parking space. I love driving it around! And to think, we won it from a ginger-ale bottle cap! We have had it for around seven years and never had a problem with it.

very enjoyable car for city driving

I love & enjoy driving my 2010 Smart 4 2. I use it 6 X a week for mostly city-drives to the Golf-course & shopping. It's super good on gas miles with premium-gas as I only fill up once a Month with less than 30.00$ . It's not a sports-car but I'm over 80 & don't drive like when I was 25 or 45 Years old. Parking = never a problem & pot-holes - OK try to avoid them - they are rough on this car. I would buy one again anytime . Klaus Freudenreich, Dundas, Ontario.
