Most Fun to Drive Car I've Owned

After looking for almost 6 years to replace my 2006 3.3L V-6 Hyundai Sonata GLS with 215,807 miles, I finally was able to get a new 2018 Ice Silver "Black Edition" Subaru Forester and I am very pleases. So far the car handles great and I am looking forward to driving it in the snow! I also like having heated front seats, a back-up camera, moon roof, Harmon Kardon sound system with XM satellite radio, adjustable front seats (didn't have with Sonata), and of course hands free communication calling, etc. Just pleased to also be in a safer car/SUV.

Best safest car ever

Awesome automated safety features, eyesight alone is worth the money. Saved me on a foggy morning with a car without lights coming at me

Almost drives itself!

Had to get a new car when my beloved 2006 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT (turbo) with manual transmission was totaled... :-( I used the opportunity to get all the bells & whistles on a 2018 Forester 2.0 XT Touring. Finally I have Bluetooth connectivity. But even better are the safety features (EyeSight Driver Assist Technology). Adaptive cruise control follows the car ahead, slowing down when it does and speeding back up to the set value when the way is clear. Lane assist will actually move you back into the lane if you drift without signaling. There are too many features to describe! It's kind of like I got a car that will backseat drive my husband for me when I'm not in the car... Looks great: I've got the Quartz Blue Pearl with black leather interior. And has plenty of zip: 250 horses... It is a lot of fun to drive.

Just getting to know the Forester

This vehicle meets our needs for traveling, and outdoor activities we like to do. And it has the space to carry all of our gear.

Me and my two new knees love this car!!! New, user friendly features make it even better than my 2015 Forester. And it rides like a dream!!!

Great car for central Pennsylvania!

My new 2018 Subaru Forester is just fantastic. This is the third Forester that I've owned and they keep getting better all the time. Bought it for the safety features, especially Eyesight. Fuel mileage is tops, too! Considered the turbo, but it requires high test gas and yields lower mileage, so stayed with the old reliable standard 2.5 engine. Always enjoyed the CVT and the dash displays encourage the driver to drive softly so as to minimize engine rpms and maximize fuel economy. Lots of room for my stuff. Best handling of all the Foresters I've had. Great lighting, especially for aging eyes! Very satisfied with my new Subaru Forester. Dealer (Apple of York, PA) experience was great--no pressure, very helpful and responsive sales staff.

Perfect car for a short person!

I am 5?1? and needed to replace my SUV. I looked at a bunch of different 2018 ones, and they all have the ?stylish? curved windows which create problems for me: 1. The curved windows make for blind spots for me, and 2. because I have to pull the seat way forward, unless I back the seat up every time I exit the vehicle, I have to avoid hitting my head on the curved window frame!! Not so with the Forester! I LOVE the large squared off windows. I LOVE the large front windshield! I was nervous about going from a V-6 to a 4 cylinder, but my Forester has plenty of zip to pull into busy traffic situations, and on the highway! I like the slightly smaller footprint, and the better gas mileage. I am also loving the road gripping feel of the car in inclement weather, driving the hills of western MA! I am so glad I got this car!
