2025 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

I love my 2025 Subaru Forrester. It is very quiet and rides well. The only downfall to it is that the audio system is it is not very responsive. And the screen on the console for heating and cooling ,you have to tap the screen instead of push buttons or knobs.

Purchased a new Subaru 2025 Touring Forester in March. Love this car. It has all the features for comfort and safety. The exterior color is new and is called River Rock. This is my 2nd Subaru and I love the quality that makes them one of the most popular cars on the road today. The ride is great and very comfortable. It has the brown NAPA brown leather interior. All the controls for this vehicle are easy to select and the infotainment screen has been enlarged to 11.6 inches. This model has been enlarged to handle many chores that you would expect from the Subaru design. Gas mileage is great.. Also no more wires this vehicle has a self charging area for your smart phone. This was a great choice for my needs.

This is our 2nd Subaru Forester. The first was a 2001 that I inherited from my mom. Liked it so much that we replaced it with a 2025 Subaru Forester Touring edition. Have had it for 2 months now and could not be happier. The ride is smooth and performance for a 4 cyl is great. Plenty of pep unless you are looking to race other vehicles. The seating is very comfortable and road noise is non-existent. I love that the safety ratings for this vehicle is higher than for any other SUV, not just in the small or mid-size category. The cabin is easy to get in and out of, both in the front bucket seats and in the rear bench seat. The second-row seating has a split back that you can drop for extra storage with the push of a button in the back of the car, making it easy to add that extra storage space as you are storing groceries or whatever. Great premium sound system that includes a free trial of SiriusXM. Bought my Forester at Premier Subaru of Fremont and the first 2 years of regular service was included in the deal. A deal that I was very happy with. I had checked around to find what was a great, good, fair or other price to pay for a new 2025 Forester. Only went back and forth a couple times before settling on a price. Good deal on a great car!

This is my first Subaru, a ‘25 premium edition. Got it as a used dealer loaner, so almost brand new. Wasn’t my first choice, but was the newest vehicle I could get for the price I was looking to spend, so I decided to take a chance on another brand. I am still getting used to Subaru nuances, drivability, and newer technology than my previous car. I can’t say I’m thrilled with it, like I was hoping to be with a new car. It lacks pep (for me personally). I know it’s a 4 cyl boxy car, but still. Using S mode helps a little, but eats into the already mediocre gas mileage, so I don’t use it much. Wind/road noise is loud, even with windows and sunroof closed, but is supposed to be better than previous editions. I can’t imagine. Less trunk space than my last car. Not a fan of the almost exclusive touch screen. I miss more dials and buttons. It doesn’t have as much storage/cubbies. Maybe I will grow to like it more. Overall, I am enjoying the peace of mind that comes with a new vehicle, but I miss some features and driving style of my last car (Honda CRV). I can’t speak on reliability yet, as I’ve only had it 2 months. Hoping I get one that runs a long time without issue, instead of one plagued with issues. I've heard of cases of both. I’ve already been berated by Subaru fans, but this is my personal opinion, which may change down the road. Only time will tell.

This is my first Subaru, and I have owned it for almost a month, and so far, I love it! Its handling, ride height, and comfort are fantastic! I am really enjoying the whole welcome to the family experience, which is different from any car brand I have ever had. I look forward to many great years with this SUV! Oh, and the AWD kicks serious A$$!

Only owned for a month, very happy of our choice so far, limited model. First time owning a Subaru, time will tell our experience. Did extensive research before making final decision. Only thing to mention is, not partial to inside at the top of the front windshield (middle) where glasses can be stored and lights are. It is very wide & disruptive to the view.

This is my second Subie. Forster Sport 2025. I love this car!!! The interior is AMAZING and the alloy 19” wheels are so stylish. It drives very smooth and the features are user friendly. I always feel safe driving a Subaru and this car is very stable in bad weather . Most importantly, my dog is thrilled with all the room.

Just had our Subaru for a month & it has been more than we expected. The seats are so comfortable. Only thing, so much to learn what everything on the dash is for. The body styling is eye catching. The doors are so quiet when closing. Comparing the cars we traded in we found this car much quieter inside when traveling down the road. Very happy!

This 2025 Forester is our second Forester and our fourth Subaru; all have been reliable and safe, with steady and predictable road-handling and enough power and styling to keep even a former BMW owner happy. This latest model, however, is at another level entirely: Its safety features alone make it the best car I've ever owned, but there is no lack of style, convenience or comfort. We have had it for less than two months, but we already know it is going to be a longtime member of the family. The Forester is a home run.

This is my fourth Forester and all of them have been a pleasure to drive. My most recent Forester was a 2019 Touring model and my only complaint was that the road and engine noise in the passenger compartment was excessive. The 2025 re-design got it right! This is the quietest car I have ever owned and I have owned some really nice luxury sedans. They have made a number of upgrades in the safety and other operating functions and all work well. I am not impressed with the map currently being used in the navigation system but I will get used to it shortly.
