Their Ad in 80's was true

I've owned more then 5 80's subaru's 5 wagons and an XT6. Auto or standard, N/A or turbo'd. Stock thru heavily modified. Mundane to lifted & tweaked. All the while 'inexpensive & built to stay that way' was true. I'm a longtime forum member in a few subaru forums.... i'd buy another one if I had the spare room --- Just for the fun to drive & low cost of maintenance.

Gets 38 MPG! Keeps on running

power locks, mirrors, windows are great. Sunroof awesome! Great on gas even in the city. Body has no crunches. All lights work. Handles well. No pulling on steering wheel. Rear seats fold down to haul lots of cargo. Transmissions shifts smoothly. Starts easily. Really cool turqouise electronic gagues.
