2018 Subaru Outback consumer reviews

So far so good. I haven't had the car long so I can't speak to reliability but neither can most others since it's a 2018. I think the base model is really a great deal. Coming from a base Forester, I feel like I'm drive luxury car. But I buy Subaru mainly for it's utility and functionality. Growing up on snowy roads, I know the disadvantages one faces with fwd or low ground clearance. I also fly fish and have to occasionally drive fire roads so the awd comes in handy there as well. The car is also quiet to drive which is nice. Outside of it's functionality, I really like the technology of the touch screen and android auto. The instrument panel is really cool as well. Directly in front of the steering wheel you can toggle between different digital screens ranging from tire psi readings, to what music you're listening too and more.

The car is great... excellent in the snow in New England....this is the most reliable car I have owned....great value for the money....good in the snow.

Great car, however I have an issue with the field of vision when driving at night. There is this black line in the middle of the windshield the headlights are lighting only the lower part of the road leaving the upper part of the windshield much darker then the lower. Does anyone else see this? How did you remedy this problem?

The car handles very well. Love all the many safety features. The gas mileage is great. The Subaru dealership was exceptional. The best car buying experience I've ever had.

Subarus are one of the safest cars on the road. I love this new Outback. It is a lot of car for the money and has amazing technology. I enjoy driving it and appreciate the roomy interior.

Bought the Outback 3.6R plenty of power,handles well, wish It offered vented seats. I've taken several day trips of 150 miles or more at least one every week since picking it up, i find it a pleasure to drive.
