drive it and fall in love with it!
This car will win you over for performance if not for style. I wasn?t looking for a wagon but it fills the bill for everything I need from it. It?s the best driving, safest car I?ve ever had!

Six cylinder superior to four banger!
Have had a 2017 Outback that I traded in for 2018 six cylinder due to the fact it is quieter ,smoother, and quicker.I?d never go back to the 4 cyl. , unless gas economy became my main concern. The six gets about 4 to 5 less mpg than the four . I get about 16 in town ,21 highway now .It?s like a different car and I love it.

6th Subaru, Great Fun & Dependable
My wife & I have been very happy with Subaru, this is our sixth. They have a proven track record with us as they are extremely dependable and safe, and have only gotten more refined over the years. My current Subaru is a 2018 Outback Limited 3.6R (the first 6 cylinder Subaru I've owned), and it is by far the most fun to drive. The 3.6L 6 cylinder is very quick, and extremely quiet. The safety & comfort features are really quite exceptional for a vehicle below $50K today. I have always enjoyed heated seats in my vehicles and I live in a state where the winters get very cold, but I have never enjoyed a car with heated front AND rear seats, my passengers really appreciate them. They also appreciate the reclining rear seats when we're on day trips together. Subaru has all the safety features you would expect, such as rear backup camera and blind spot monitoring... but it goes much further than that. Adaptive Cruise Control eliminates the frustration I once experienced when the vehicles ahead didn't drive at a consistent speed, or a passing car pulled in front a little too close for comfort. At night the headlights actually angle in the direction you turn the steering wheel, making it very easy to see. The blind spot monitor lights have been moved from the far side of the mirrors to the inside of the mirror housing right by the window, as well as being larger, which allows for better peripheral acquisition. There is a lane assist feature that not only sounds an (adjustable) reminder if you cross a lane marker without using the turn signals, but actually imparts a light but easily noticed resistance in the steering wheel and helps bring you back to the lane. There is plenty of storage for everything, including the rear cargo area cover, should you want to remove and store it for transporting taller items. The rear seats fold flat, with the pull of a lever at the rear of the back compartment on either side of the rear hatch, no need to reach deep into the back or go to the side doors to lower the seats. I also enjoy the excellent stereo system which includes a CD player and Apple Play & Android Play. A great All Wheel Drive SUV with all the safety, dependability, and fun that you could want.
