4runner Excellent Traveling Car

I owned a 2010 TSS Tacoma and it only towed 3,500 pounds. I thought it towed more. There was no tow package for it. I bought the 4runner. The hitch comes on the car. It tows 5,000 pounds. It's a V6 like the tacoma, 4L, better gas mileage than a V8. It has a real nice super smooth drive. Theres so much room in this vehicle for you and your guests and room in the back for luggage. It has a luggage rack. I can put the seats down and lay down in the back, so this vehicle is excellent for traveling. You may be stopping at rest stops and you can get pretty comfortable. Add a mat. You don't need expensive motel rooms. You're not sleeping in a bed other people slept in and it be nasty and you can use your own linens. It has an alarm system, so you are SAFE. When you close the windows, it's very quiet inside. I love having sirius so I can sit an relax to my favorite sirius channels. The front seats recline ALL the way back so you are in a horizontal position, if you don't to crawl into the back. I don't believe the hatch opens from the inside or I don't have that option on my vehicle. Easy to see what's going on, on the road. This car can be driven off road, but I don't see myself ever doing that, but RVer's do tow to remote areas. Doors open and shut nicely. Seats are comfortable. Driver seat has lumbar support and it really does keep you more comfortable on long trips.

Cavalry blue 4runner is sweet.

This 4runner is perfect. Smooth ride on the highway and easy offroad capability really makes this the perfect all purpose vehicle. I was able to find a cavalry blue one and im yet to see another. This truck is awesome.

Old School Looks and Function

This is the last year this truck remains on a box frame, which is a shame. The controls are about the same as the 11-year old 4Runner we just sold, except for the console/nav upgrade. Good power, great in the snow, tons of room for hauling, and good torque for towing. At 6'3" I fit comfortably. Beautiful paint job, and the minor exterior changes were positive. Love this truck.

Great SUV, Just need more tech

Great SUV, Obviously Reliable being both a 4Runner and Toyota. Best Resale. Just needs a better radio and technology in it like all the other Toyotas.

Vehicle with the right options and is quality!

The 4Runner provided me with the right options I was looking for. It's just the right size and room needed without being bulky like other vehicles. Its a solid vehicle with a lot of safety engineering. Provides comfort for passengers as well as having 4WD and towing which I needed. This purchase allowed me to go from two vehicles to one!

4 Runner is the best vehice out there.

My favorite vehicle, I owned a 4 runner before and it was mtce free. I had 167,000 miles when I traded it. I am sure it would of gone at least another 100,000. I would not buy anything but a 4 runner.

Safest car for me

I have owned 7 Runners so I guess I like them. Very reliable and very safe. Over 26 years I have unfortunately had two serious accidents in my 4-Runners and have walked away from both totaled cars. One was a roll-over and all safety features performed as advertised. I won't trust my life of my family's in any other vehicle.
