Best bang for your buck

This vehicle checked almost all our boxes, first and foremost it is the best for your buck, very reliable vehicle, some times less is more, well this Toyota 4Runner checked that box not having all the extras that we usually didn?t use anyway. When compared to the Jeep Grand Cherokee we loved the size and other options that this 4Runner had. One of the biggest but most simple thing we found was the entertainment/ radio touch screen, we noticed that you could navigate very easily through the menu from one to another, we both have apple phones and the 4Runner s radio and software was very apple friendly. Another feature I liked was the off road functions for going up and down steep grades to being able to set the vehicle accent / decent speeds. The back hatch window rolls completely down which is nice to get that breeze going through the vehicle, and the most simple to me anyway was the fact that the rear wiper was hidden up on top and out of the way so when you go through a car wash you don?t get one of those stupid wiper covers that you see on the back of everyone SUV after they leave the car wash. In our opinion the 4Runner checked off the most boxes for us.

Great new SUV

I think it is a great driving SUV. The ride is very quiet and the vehicle handles nicely. I love that it has such an outstanding resale.

Super comfortable in every respect

This is the trd pro model. I love this car. It's smooth and comfortable. Controls are great and well placed. Seats are awesome. Radio is decent. Fuel mileage is not great. But the off roading capabilities far out weigh to the loss.

Toyota Knows Their Consumer

The 4 Runner is the perfect combination of capability, style, experience, and value for someone who wants an old-school SUV in a modern package. I've read reviews that suggest the 4 Runner is outdated because it lacks modern gadgetry and/or a more powerful motor, but I believe that Toyota has a keen knowledge of their core consumer and has deliberately found--and kept--the right balance with this package. If you want a (dangerous) self-driving limousine, buy a Tesla. If you want a true SUV that will take you anywhere--including off road--and run forever, buy a 4 Runner.

Best trade I ever made

I traded in my Nissan Xterra which was my FAVORITE car ever. I had to get something bigger because our family was growing. The 4Runner had additional space and the design is incredible. The 4Runner is actually a more capable vehicle off-road, safer on road, and better gas mileage. I don't know if I can ever get rid of this car!

Very stable on the road and I like the brakes

Sits up high and you have great view of the road. Ample power and passing gear is great. Changing the oil filter is a pain in the xxx and should have been designed like the Highlander!

love driving it

Most of these review are repeated 4 or 5 times which is disappointing trying to make it look like more reviews. I've had my 4Runner for 6 months and went to it from an aging Lincoln Navigator. I love the way it looks and rides and there is room for my 80 lb dog in the cargo section. The gas mileage should be better with the technology we have now. I like the fact that it was 100% made in Japan. The second row could use some help; with a 5 point carseat in place in the middle, it pretty much renders the rest of the seat unusable because you can't get to the seatbelts without undoing the carseat. :(

A real truck!

I would like to call it an urban tank. This is the SUV that could do almost anything for you. It could be your safe and soft daily driver, your mall crawler and on weekends it is going to be your fun loving off-roader, your surfing board carrier and even your movile storage box when you?re moving to your new apartment. Well it doesn?t fly...
