Very smooth and quiet drive

Great overall family vehicle. Not many SUV's come with 3rd row seats. This one does. It's definitely a plus. Currently have the entertainment package installed on it which the little ones love. Not too bad on gas mileage for being a large V6 SUV (around 20-25 mpg). The only upgrade I would like to see in future models is the front sensors. Currently has rear sensors which will alert you when a pedestrian or vehicle is behind you or when you are getting to close as you reverse or putting in park. There aren't any front sensors. Love the privacy curtain on rear passenger windows which also helps minimize the sun beaming in the vehicle when you have passengers in the back. Overall a great vehicle which has a lot of options. The blue trim lights are also a cool feature as well. This is review is for the limited trim.

Beautiful machine

Well designed vehicle, extremely comfortable ride. Great safety features. Wish the rear seating would fold down to a more flat position to haul items. New purchase, but very happy so far.

Dissapointed

The car is pretty good in nearly all aspects except when it comes to moving down the road! The gearing is way out on these cars. No torque in first gear at all, resulting in very poor take off from a stop. This single aspect stopped me from writing the check and buying it. Also each and every one has a water gathering spot on the hood near the wind-screen. A future rust spot if ever I've seen one...owners beware! When you go to the dealership look for yourself and you'll see the marks left by pooling water.

Noisy

More road noise than I expected. Has large blind spots, hard to see other vehicles. Really comfortable.

Highlander's the best

This is my 3rd Highlander, 2009, 2015, now 2017. The car continues to improve in its features and its reliability is of paramount importance to me. There's a good reason the Consumer's Report lists it among the best 10 autos every year.

never GMC

I bought a Toyota after owning a GMC Acadia that had 7 recalls and new transnission, new axles and the motor blown after 217,000 miles. Toyota's have a better rep and so far so great!!

Toyota Camry XLE

Much technology and very comfortable vehicle. Have been very satisfied with my past Highland purchase in 2004. The ride is as smooth and comfortable as any vehicle we have ever owned in the past. There are several safety features built in such as back up camera, collision alarm, lane changing alert.

Love my new Highlander

It's the car if you are looking for a mid size third row for kids, in my case grandkids. I can't believe the ease of the tailgate and seats as well as the many safety devices it comes with, superior in my opinion.

Best car I've owned

Great riding car. Much quieter than my 2004 Highlander and expecting to keep it as long. After more than a month of ownership, still finding great features.
