2nd Tundra
I recently traded my 2016 Tundra in for a 2018 model and couldn?t be happier. The added safety features make driving extremely enjoyable and the nice metallic paint schemes are eye catching.

Solid reliable truck
I bought my first Tundra this year and am happy to say I converted from Ford. My 2018 Tundra is very comfortable, roomy and has all the bells and whistles without me paying the price Ford wants. This truck is awesome, enough said.

Great truck and reliable
If you want a very reliable truck with every turn of the key, the Tundra is for you. The 5.7 iforce v8 engine is very beefy and you will experience that at the pumps! Having said that, pulling a trailer is very easy and the ride is very smooth. The cab feels like riding in a limo! If you are looking for peace of mind and don?t mind spending a few extra thousand, this truck is for you.

Want Looks or Value?
I bought a 2015 Tundra new with the 5.7 because of the tow rating and the looks of the truck (Dark gray, blacked out). I have a camper that weighs only 5700 lbs, towed it like it was not there and looked good doing it. Only problem---->GAS!!! I was afraid to take it to CO across Kansas with the camper in fear I would not make it gas station to gas station. With no camper, 10-11 mpg at best, with the camper in the Ozark Mountains, 4, maybe 5 mpg. It made me despise the truck filling up 3 times per week with no camper (probably drive 60-75 miles per day). Oh yeah, oil change will double in price as well. Found the solution with a different brand of 1/2 ton.

Avoid the JBL premium sound system
Love the truck, but the JBL premium sound system is JUNK. The radio in my daughters Honda Fit base model is much better than the system in this truck. Navigation system is not integrated with the radio. When the navigation needs to give directions it does not mute or lower the volume of the radio. So to use the navigation you must turn the music off or lower the volume. The Sound quality and volume from the so called Premium sound system is a Joke. At full volume you can still talk with people in the truck. Lots of distortion from the speakers. The sound system in the lower model Tundra is a thousand times better than the Premium sound system. The system is clearly under powered. Toyota messed up with the JBL Premium sound system, and they are not willing to admit it.
