2014 Volkswagen Passat consumer reviews

I was initially looking for a Honda, but came across this Passat with under 50,000 miles and was very excited! Black exterior and interior. Leather interior so tinted windows is a must, but very comfortable. It has heated front seats, lots of space, huge trunk, built in Bluetooth, electric seat controls, and awesome stereo!! Definitely a great i investment. The only 2 cons I see are the fact that Volks are more expensive to service and more expensive in gas.

This car is quite roomy on the interior. Seats sit high, so I have great visibility. Legroom in both the front and back is more than sufficient. So many high-end features. Only negative is that the Navigation system is outdated so inaccurate. I love the Bluetooth feature, and the sound system. Roomy trunk, which is why I bought this car: to drive my child to college.

they really have expanded the interior in the car and it's not much different than my Ford Taurus but definitely has a lot more Headroom

This car looks and rides great! Since it is a recent purchase I am hoping it is reliable as I have heard. Plenty of leg room in front and rear.

I drove a 2001 CRV until I couldn't take it anymore, great car but was so old, so I saw this 2014 Passat on an internet ad for Day Apollo Volkswagon and decided to test drive it. Well it was love at first drive! It has everything and more, sun roof, back up camera, surius radio, large gas tank. Drives very smooth and is very fast, you could be going 85 and not even realize it, LOVE THIS CAR! Even the cup holder is great, I used to spill drinks regularly in the other car, not with this cupholder, holds it snug. Also has phone capability, so I can talk while I'm driving and all the phone controls are on the steering wheel. So Happy with this car!

I originally leased this car then purchased it after the lease. It has been a great highway vehicle. With a 1.8T engine it gets great gas mileage on the freeway (34 Avg) with standard gasoline. City driving is okay too. With a small turbo engine, it's not the smoothest off the line. It has the power but kicks in once the turbo is up to speed. Unless you're wanting to upgrade to a V6 (lower gas mileage) there's not much you can do with a 1.8T engine. But at higher speeds above 25-30 MPH, it has all of the torque you'll ever need. I rent cars a few times a month when I travel for work and by far, VWs (Audi decent looking cousin) offer the most for the money. The reason that I'm selling is that I upgraded to an Audi A7.

I love the car. The gas mileage on this diesel vehicle is amazing. Interior is beautiful and I love the added feature of heated seats.

It really has everything: cofort, style and ride quality. The car was purchased from Hertz Car Sales, which was the best customer service experience ever. Reliability so far is great but still has to be proven.

Navy blue. Passenger side tires dropped into ditch, damaged car. Not feeling fixed correctly. Traded on 2014 Passat Wolfsburg Edition. Good car. Strong, durable. Good engine.

Burgundy, cornsilk vinyl seats. 1.8 liter turbo with six speed at. Heated seats made up for weak heater. Strong body, light weight. Good car. Strong motor.
