Good car, good value

I was looking for a safe all-wheel-drive car with a good engine, and didn't care about looks. I got all of those requirements with this car, and more. It has enough height, so I have a good field of vision. There's plenty of space in the car, but it doesn't have a huge footprint. It's got a lot of extras and its looks are growing on me. I don't know how reliable it is since I've only had it for a few days!

Perfect fit for me!

This car was mine the moment I sat in it. The panoramic roof, comfortable seat, light beige interior and black floor mats sold me. The Wolfsburg edition has the pano roof that the non-Wolfsburg did not. I grew up with VWs as a child. It was like going home. I run premium gas and average about 23 mpg. Not great, but no complaints regarding performance.

Classic styling

Great all around car, very compact on the outside but not the inside. Love the heated seats in winter. a minor complaint is I sometimes burn rubber from a stop without meaning to, just a lot of hp I guess.

Great value

I think of it as a VW Golf on stilts, which as you may know the Golf is a very highly rated car. I like sitting up higher than a car. The build quality by being made in Osnabruck, Germany is very high. The interior is high quality and understate, even on the base trim.

"Wolfsburg" edition

I'm in the 3rd year of leasing this SUV and while I've only put on 11K miles, there has not been a single mechanical problem or issue. Volkswagen's "4motion" has been simply amazing in the snow here in Minnesota. It immediately engages (automatically) when needed and performs better than other all-wheel drive systems in low-traction situations.

Impressive small SUV type car!

I have an older large 4WD truck for my mountain adventures, and wanted a new smaller vehicle with all the bells & whistles for fun and more efficiency. A TV ad took me to the dealer, and I ended up with this great car that a friend also drives and raves about. I too am a raving fan, and have thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Small but still sits 4-5 comfortably, with room in the back for take alongs. I went with the Wolfsburg edition for the extras and fun too. Well worth it and couldn't be happier. Worth a test drive at minimum...and now they are a little bit bigger. Enjoy!
