Volvo S60
The most confortable car. I pick this car because of safety feature they have and after looking for a few car. This is my choise, eventhough its look like a big car but when you sat inside it so confortable and nice interior too.

Safe, Fast, Economical, Sleeper
Always safe. Fast when you need (or want it ;-} ), yet the S60R blends right in much more than any other performance car. The three settings of the cockpit-adjustable suspension allows for everything from smooth cruising to track days, just push a button. The sound system kicks. I'm 6'4" and I fit just fine. 11.xx pounds per hp is very strong. And yet, I'm averaging almost 3 mpg better than the EPA combined rating for the life of the car (19 EPA, mine=22+). Since summer '09 I've upped my MPG techniques so that I consistently get 5 to 6 MPG better than the EPA city rating (16 EPA, mine=22+) and up to 9 mpg better than the EPA highway rating (23 EPA, mine up to 32) on this manual 6-speed car.

Old enough to have a Safe Comfortable Car
My wife and I drove less expensive used cars for years (Chev Greenbriar Corvair van, VW411, Volvo 144, 1964 Buick Special) then did our bit for ecology with Honda Civic Hybrid. Safety and car seating low low marks. Since our Volvo S60 (used but only 28K miles) life has been VERY comfortable, we can hear each other as we drive along, and feel VERY safe. Totally worth the expense--this might be our last car before DOL takes our licenses away!

Not worth the money or headaches!
My 2006 S60 is less than one year old, purchased new and I am looking for a new, safe car. I was not informed by appropriate parties before my purchase that when debri such as mud or snow accumulates in the tire rims that the car feels like the wheels are severely out of balance. The steering wheel will shake like I am holding on to a jackhammer and it is necessary to immediately decrease speed. I also was not told until after purchase, that if a tire(s) seize up due to excess moisture in the wheelwells, brake area, or from getting the car washed, that I should step on the gas to free the tires. Does this sound safe to you? Safety was the main reason for my Volvo purchase but there is nothing safe about these problems and I rate Volvo safety at a minimum. This is my first and last Volvo. I notified the National Transportation Safety Bureau so it is now in their hands.

S 60 R - Volvo"s secret
Who knew Volvo could compete with the Audi S4 and the BMW M3? Plus it is 13 to 16 K less expensive. Unreal engine and brakes, excellent 6-speed manual transmission great interior except for the roof liner material (looks like it came from Ford). The 4C adjustable suspension is a marvel, great technology. Just wish it was a coupe instead of a sedan. Changed OEM tiresand car drove much better. Volvo should offer a choice of tires. Hope the rumors that Volvo is discontiuning the R are false.

It's a pleasure to drive
I was shopping for another Saturn, the Aura. Been a Saturn owner for 13 years. Really liked the Aura when a friend of ours, who works for Ford, offered me a PIN number to look at their family of cars. I drove the Volvo S40 first and hated it. Great starter car, but its not a Volvo. Then drove the S60 and fell in love. What a nice car. It is such a pleasure to be in. Great pick up, smooth performance. Only thing to complain about is extras for the iPod kit and window tinting. Everything else I could want is in there and the few extra dollars don't seem to matter when you love driving in it.

This vehicle has the most comfort, great handling (AWD) and power, very good brakes, and very good ergonomics. Got a great price and I enjoy every minute of driving.

Great Touring Car
Recently drove 1600 miles in three days. Very comfortable, easy to spend long hours behind the wheel without becoming overly fatigued. Needs more leg room for the back seat. 31 mpg @ posted speed limits.

Awesome Car!
This is my second volvo and the improvements on the 2006 are tremendous. By far this is the favorite of all of the cars I have owned. Only downfall is the turning radius- I can live with that. Excellent vehicle!
