Very solid car, makes you feel safe while driving

Comfortable, smooth riding, great visibility, and roomy for a family of five. HUGE cargo area and flat folding back seats make it great for shopping!

Reliable, safe, FAST, & FUN!

This vehicle has been so much fun to drive. It's sporty, fast, and fun all while being safe and family-friendly. It has a very sleek look inside and out. No complaints about his vehicle, all great things to say.

Great Car!

This is a great sport wagon, very quick, surefooted and nimble. It is a fun car to drive and very well behaved on the pavement or in snow. The ergonomics are excellent and very intuitive to use. No regrets.

Best car I've ever owned

The drivability in town and on the highway are great, the front seats are the most comfortable supportive of seat in any car

Great Car. Audi and Subaru can't compete.

I've had my 2010 Volvo V50 R-Design for about a month now. It has 18,000 miles on it and runs like it's brand new which it should. The car has plenty of power out of the T5 engine coupled with the AWD for great handling. The interior is comfortable and clean as wells as super easy controls. Even though the car is sporty, the ride is quite and smooth. Gas mileage is about 24 mpg city/ 29 mpg hwy. I replaced a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback with this car and found Volvo has much more room and almost the same dimensions. As long as Volvo's reliability hasn't missed this car I plan on keeping it for a long time. It's too bad Volvo cancelled this model back in 2011 because Subaru wagons don't compare to the ride and a finish quality of this car. I also tested a 2012 Audi A3 which had horrible road and engine noise compared to the V50 and a lower reliability rating.

V50

This volvo model is compact, seats 4 comfortably, but probably couldn't carry gear for 4 on a long trip. I like having a 4-door with a hatch/cargo rear door. The interior is noisier than my old V70. There are portals to plug an iPod into the speaker system with nice sound control features.
