Used Acura MDX Technology Package for sale near Linden, NJ

It was pure coincidence that while being in NY/CT/NJ for a month that I happened across Acura of Ramsey and a car I was interested in. I sent an inquiry on a Saturday and Elbio D’Onofrio replied (called me) shortly thereafter. After exchanging some pleasantries, I then asked to speak with the amiable General Sales Manager Justin Agamie. Justin promptly called me and we set up an appointment to meet the following Monday. A handshake and one hour later…BAM…I bought the car I was interested in. Yes, it’s that easy when dealing with professional, proficient and personable people like this!

It is a very nice vehicle… a few exceptions… no heated steering wheel, no remote start no foot controlled rear lift gate and a few other amenities that comes with many other comparable vehicles. The trim levels do not make a lot of sense like aspec is considerably more expensive but only a few amenities and the advanced is almost 20k more for a few options that are stock with Lexus and other high end suv…

Like other reviews I love this car! Comfortable, stylish, it’s inherently a Honda so likely reliable. Gas mileage not great but better than MDX of the past which weren’t nearly as fun to drive! Highly recommend this Acura. Haven’t owned one since I had a 2008 TL but I have the same happy feeling whenever I drive it, now in a very different life stage!

I have the 23 Acura MDX SH-AWD I love the ride and looks of it. I wished I would have bought one a long time ago . Just wished it got better gas mileage. But for a V6 aspirated engine. I shouldn’t complain. It’s comfortable, handles as good if not better than the Atlas I had.

It was amazing! Having two toddlers with me and the bf lol is a lot of work but Tristan was amazing and worked very quickly with me since this morning before even coming in....pretty much when I arrived I had to sign documents get insurance, test drive in parking lot (only bc the area, I was unfamiliar with) and th3n sign some more paper work and off I went. And the kids did get a little fussy but no complaints from anyone which is always so nice. I mean 2 under 2 is a lot already and they worked their magic and got me a car even with low credit and a repow.....repo..... thanks so much guys!!!!

We love our 2023 Acura MDX -- handling, ride (in all modes), acceleration (definitely enough when you need it to enter the highway, etc.), interior, dependability, technology and size. This car is the perfect size for us with 3 dogs. We make lots of trips to the park and of course, to stores regularly too. We do lots of DIY projects too so we need to haul materials. The MDX offers plenty of space to do it. The gas mileage is great (25 mpg+ in the city for us) -> much better than the under 10 mpg we had been getting with our 2018 truck. Very pleased with the versatility of the MDX.

The car is very well made with a lot of features. Acura did not cheapen up with this car. I’m very happy with it. I highly recommend this car. I have had 2 other Acuras before and they are highly reliable.

We’ve owned Acura’s since 1991. Have had sedans and SUV’s. Both MDX and RDX. This is the best one yet. The technology is unbelievable. The ride is superb. The comfort and roominess are second to none. The safety features are remarkable. Can’t say enough about this vehicle.

This SUV is awesome. It is surprising how comfortable and roomy is yet maneuvers so well in tight spaces like parking lots. It has a 3rd row seating which I will not likely ever use but it lays completely flat, so there is no loss of room. The rear area has plenty of room for 4 bags of golf clubs. We drove it to Las Vegas from SoCal last weekend and are really pleased with it.

I really like my 2022 Acura MDX, it’s a luxury SUV. It’s pretty and it’s just for me. The problem, I have only had it for 22 months and the starter went. It cost us $950.00 to replace the starter, that didn’t include the labor. Thank God my husband has quite a bit of knowledge on installing starters. Problem number 2, reverse light needs to be replaced, that’s the hold panel and the cost is a whopping $500.00 and something dollars. The 60,000! mile maintenance has to be done in the next few months. The dealer charges $1,325,00, Honda charges $835.00 but it has to be done. But again, I love my car and I plan on having it for years to come.

I used to be a Lexus of Rockville Center (LRC) costumer. But with LRC sold to new owners, I discovered New Country Lexus of Great Neck when My ES 350 needed some work. The work was done well and promptly. Joe Reilly, one of their service advisers, is a professional and courteous young man. When part of the work could not be done reasonably quick, Joe offered me a loaner car. I was very pleased I didn’t have to sit too long to wait for the car to be ready. To the company’s credit, all their advisers and the service manager are courteous and always ready to help costumers. I wholeheartedly recommend this dealership to all my fellow Lexus owners in this area.

Can't say enough about Kyle and the overall experience at Smythe. We had just come off a horrific experience at another dealer (two bad experiences, actually). We were so turned off. But we found this beautiful Audi at Smythe and decided to give it another go. My wife stopped in and met Kyle. He was terrific from the start. All she did was want to see it before the two of us went back. There was no pressure, no "sales-pitch" or anything. Just a nice guy who listened to my wife and her auto buying needs. We went back that night, test drove the car, talked with Kyle (again, "talked", no pressure). He took the time to answer to every question we had and explained everything in detail. It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). Kyle introduced us to Abood, helped us explain exactly what we were looking for and we were told "No problem. We hear you and will do our best. If it doesn't turn out to be the deal you are looking for, no worries, but we'll call you in the morning." Next day, my wife got the call and the deal we talked about the night before was they deal made happen. No sweat, no stress, no anxiety. We walked in later that afternoon. Car was prepped, big red bow on it, papers ready to sign, and my wife as out of there in under an hour. THANK YOU Kyle, Abood, William (our delivery specialist) and everyone at Smythe. THIS PLACE is our new and only place to go for a car and we will tell everyone!

Cara Z was fantastic—no salesy nonsense, just honest knowledge and great energy. Picked up a 2025 Honda Ridgeline that looked exactly as advertised. 10/10 would shop here again. Started off by turning in my 2016 Accord Sport. After going over all options ended up leasing another 2020 Accord Sport. Had such great service provided from sales to finance ended up coming back two days later and leasing a Civic Sport for my daughter. My wife already has a Pilot Ex-L. This will make our twelfth Honda purchase since moving in the area, all from Joyce Honda. Always top notch service provided. This time for sales we used Joe San Roman. Joe always provides 5 star service and is always goes above and beyond to make a deal happen. We have used Joe in the past, And is always a pleasure to work with (Great job Joe). For finance we used two people who were also amazing to work with. They allowed us to make a smooth transition right through the whole purchasing process. First up Matt Stark provided top notch service, and went above and beyond and treated us like family throughout the whole purchasing process (Great Job Matt). Next up the finisher Steve Owusu. Steve also went above and beyond to make purchasing both vehicles smooth as can be. He kept us aware of all options, And also was there via phone whenever needed for questions about anything involved in the whole purchase (Great Job Steve). Four months into the driving and configuring my wife's new MDX… So far so good! Excellent finish and interior quality. The car feels solid and is very quiet inside. No rattles, no squeaks, the only abnormal sound I can hear is the jingling of the metal ring on the key fob laying in the door top pocket. Driving mode is easy to switch using large knob in the center console, no need to stop and drill into the menu options like on new Lexus RX. Sport mode eliminates any feelings of insufficient engine power (at expense of the gas mileage, that's for sure), no jerking transmission then either. With about 4000 miles on it, transmission feels silky smooth. The sound system is excellent! The infotainment system is fine - no finger smudges on the screen. BTW, the screen panel quality is way better than the one on new Lexus RX. High contrast, deep black, and no way to get sun glare anywhere near. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto – all work like a charm. Default Acura's navigation is actually not that far behind, giving the choice of seamlessly switching between at least 3 navigation systems at any time during the driving (Acura's, Apple/Google Maps, or Waze in my very modest setup). Engine stop/start is annoying, but there is a way to control it with the brake pedal pressure – light pressure prevents engine from shutting down. Not sure what those rich folks with $60k+ cars are complaining about gas mileage. It's not a city commuter's car. I'm seeing 27-28 mpg cruising on the highway. It doesn't require premium fuel, that's additional 20% fuel economy for you. Driver assist features are all good and very usable. I only don't get why would ACC (adaptive cruise control) need to be that sensitive and require periodic "proof of presence", literally makes me shake the steering wheel a bit every several minutes. I hope Acura will relax this "rule" with the future software update, …please.

After enjoying a 2006 Honda Pilot for over 200K miles it came time to try something different although the Pilot was still performing flawlessly. Competition was fierce with Lexus, KIA, Volvo, and others offering compelling alternatives. But in the end customer loyalty won out. The ACURA MDX has proven to be an outstanding choice offering comfort, reliability, and an absolute pleasure to drive. Also of importance the technology interface feels intuitive with a very shallow learning curve. Highly recommend.
