The RL after 135,000 miles is still a great car and still looks contemporary. Ungaraged, its finish has held up amazingly well. With SHAWD it's a winter car that goes anywhere under any conditions. Ihas most all of the trick features of today's cars and with the key fob in my wallet just touching the handles opens and locks it. An added bonus I've never forgotten my wallet and left home without my driver's license or credit cards. The sound system is good, the nav works flawlessly, pairing the phone easy the bluetooth perfect. It has a ton of standard equipment like rear window shades that have come in handy. I've never kept a car this long but to get the same level of reliability under these harsh conditions is up for grabs and a car with all these features is 75K up. It's only issue is the 5 speed transmission that has offered no problems other than not seamless. The interior does show a few signs of wear. The driver's door armrest looked to be leather but is actually rubber that's worn through to a checked cloth backing and the dash under the glove box has bubbled. A job for Dr. Pimple Popper? It's got enough power for everyday driving, gets a solid 25 on the highway but around this hilly town with no stop and go traffic, between 18-19. Truth is, at 82,I hope to drop dead before the car.

I nicknamed my RL "Flirtin with Disaster" after the Molly Hatchet song because of how powerfully fast it is! The thing is EFFORTLESS. I've owned Benz SEL's (300, 420 and 500) and owned two Lexus LS400's and one Infiniti Q45 and loved them all, but, this RL35 Premium is U N I Q U E. motor is NOT transverse mounted, but still is FWD! FWD is a plus on a wet, snowy or slushy road. Now t he RWD luxury cars I've had get through bad tracks because of their sheer weight and torque, but the RL35 Premium is feather-like, and its only drawback is lower fuel economy because Acura/Honda concentrated on pure performance.

Just hit 150,000 miles on this vehicle and it has been just regular maintenance. Needed a little aligning once in awhile which caused some excessive wheel wear on the inner toes of the tires, but other than that it has been a fantastic. Even for being 10 years old the technology is still solid, GPS the best I have ever used.

I just purchased my 2012 Audi from Joe and Harris. They have been fantastic! I love my car. They have been amazing, there was a minor issue and Joe and Harris saved me hundreds they were more than willing to help me and took the time to check codes and Harris fixed it he’s amazing and great with computers and codes. This was the only car that-ever broke down on Me during a Road-Test (alternator-therefore, battery failure). However, This was the car-that got Me to collect 'Guide De L'Auto' books, for-It was described-as some-kind of Underdog (flagship Model with a-mere V6?)...and I can identify with the Underdog. CAA had it towed to the garage-where It was sceduled to be inspected. Needed-besides what the problems -already were, plus a-little minor-This and That, and I added-to install a new fan-belt, please? And I scheduled a Tranny Oil Change, for when my Mechanic receives the proper Honda Oil. Nice and quiet, I can get-just under 8l/100km on the highway, but the Kickdown's always there-when I needed It. I can-only sense the car shifting gears, but- through the sound of the Engine. Smooth Bugger! Car corners! It may have been 'bashful-looking when new, but Today, RL looked more-and more distinguished, among others at our parking-lot, over Time. The negative aspect (and-This is only-by Personal Experience): -There's a high-pitched 'whine', from-around the windshield, when I reach 100 km/h. -It has a slow leak in the Electric System, but installed a battery 'Kill-Switch', for-when car's not in use. -The Lid to the storage compartment on the Center Console, tends to open-whenever It wants-to. I guess the Latch-on Mine has-all but worn-out... -Never-in my Life, have I-ever paid $700-for a new muffler, but-That was to be expected with a car-like This. -Now, I'm in search for a new Transmission 'Ball'-that broke-off in my hand, not-two days-ago, Lol...

I bought used and I love it , it's got everything I was looking for with low miles. More comfortable and peppy than Lexus , just wish exterior looks more sporty but this was not the primary goal of this sedan

Very enjoyable driving this car. Never get bored of it. Very fast and reliable after at about 150000 miles. Almost no oil consumption. Still no alarm on dashboard.My first one was totaled and bought the same car used with different color. I am in love with my Acura RL .

This car met every need of mine except for the obvious bad gas mileage at about 19 mpg on average. I added third party auto start and Bluetooth for music and calling and it literally is amazing

This is a beautiful Acura RL. The vehicle drives extremely well for a luxury car, the way it handles and most importantly how safe it feels, especially in the snow.

I had no idea how stressful moving could be until I attempted it on my own. Thankfully, these movers saved the day. They arrived promptly, packed everything quickly, and ensured that nothing was damaged during the move. I really appreciated their attention to detail, especially with fragile items. Bought this car in 2014. Always kept up with maintenance. Only major thing I had to do was replace the alternator in 2017 (11 years old by then). Currently at 280k miles. Frequently driven on an avg of 5 hour road trips. If I came across another one, I would not hesitate to buy it. I had the 2008 TL type S also, but I love the RL More. This is a keeper! An i will drive it til the wheels fall off.

I bought a 2007 Acura RL for a change from comfort to comfort performance combination. When is comes to the performance part the RL doesn?t disappoint. It?s a fast slick handling machine. It has almost all the creature comforts one would expect from a high end ride. Obviously with performance you sacrifice with some increased cabin noise. The electronics are state of the art for a 2007. It can be frustrating waiting for link to bring you to screen for climate controls. All in all a pleasure to drive and excellent value??so far

The 2011 Acura RL is easily one of the nicest sporty luxury cars made that year. The SH-AWD is amazing, the 3.7L engine loves to run, the interior is beautiful, the Bose sound wonderful. Hard to believe these did not sell better - AND if you can find one second-hand, jump on it. You'll be glad you did.

Difficult to separate the good and bad. In the end I bought the car. I think he is a generally honest guy who is trying to be fair. I don't think he'd purposely hide problems or patch up a failed car. That is of highest importance. My problem is there were a lot of issues with the car not disclosed in the listing. Check your car carefully! To his credit he disclosed the failing clear coat by sending me an excellent video before I traveled (a long way) to the dealership. Maybe inadvertently he disclosed problems with the headliner in the video. When I got there the battery was dead so he explained there was a parasitic load (still not resolved) that kills the battery in a couple days and he pointed out it had the wrong battery (which he replaced when we negotiated price). A tire was nearly flat and he noted it had a leak. If he were dishonest surely the tire would have been full and the battery charged when I showed up and he wouldn't have pointed out the wrong size battery (didn't fit tray). What I found includes: Two tires were good and two have almost no tread. The key fob remote doesn't work and when I bought and installed a new battery it still didn't. Since buying it I've gotten two estimates for fob replacement of $700 and $410. Hopefully I'll find one a little lower. I've also found the wiper blades need replaced, interior lights by the rear-view mirror don't work, and a film on the rear window (rear defroster I believe) is all bubbled and also not clear where unbubbled. Other than snow on the car when I test drove, I'm not sure how I missed this last one. Finally, there is an undisclosed admin fee of $500. He said nobody in NC discloses this on web listings. Maybe but it doesn't make it right.
