I am a die hard Acura RL fan. I have had 6 RL's, (96, 99, 2000, 01, 04 and an 06) all purchased used and I drove each of them 2-5 years. 2 of them I got more when I sold them than what I paid for them. I can not say enough good about them, The ONLY iss ues I had were brakes which I considered normal maintenance. You can not go wrong with this car.

The car is loaded with options that I don't how work yet like everything voice activated. The only drawback is the gas mileage is in the middle to upper twenties but the research I did showed that the utterly reliable.

Just hit 150,000 miles on this vehicle and it has been just regular maintenance. Needed a little aligning once in awhile which caused some excessive wheel wear on the inner toes of the tires, but other than that it has been a fantastic. Even for being 10 years old the technology is still solid, GPS the best I have ever used.

The 2011 Acura RL is easily one of the nicest sporty luxury cars made that year. The SH-AWD is amazing, the 3.7L engine loves to run, the interior is beautiful, the Bose sound wonderful. Hard to believe these did not sell better - AND if you can find one second-hand, jump on it. You'll be glad you did.

I purchase my 2004 Acura RL in 2008 with 52000 miles for $17,500. Per the car fax history, it was leased for 3 years and repossessed from the 2nd owner after several months. I had routine maintenance including a timing belt replacement and never had a problem with anything. Unfortunately, we had a destructive hail storm in April of 2024 and the insurance company "totaled" it. We didn't want a salvaged title and sold it to someone who knew the true value of the vehicle. In short, imy '04 RL gave me 16 years of excellent performance!

I've owned my 1996 RL for almost a year now and have never had a problem with it. I've driven it from southern IL to Chicago going over 80 the whole way with no problems at all. It zipped along the freeway. Having already 202,000 miles it really is amazing that it is in such great shape. The only thing that has gone wrong with it is that the back windows don't work, but that was there when I bought it. Other than that, everything works perfectly: Heated Seats, Heated Mirrors, 6 disk CD changer, the leather has held up very well, and the shocks and struts are fine, unless you cram the car with 5 people and load the trunk down with luggage. The 3.5 liter engine still is in tip top shape and still scoots from 0-60 in around 8 sec. Its not going to win any drag races, but it still gets up and goes. Great great car, I would recommend it to anyone.

The RL after 135,000 miles is still a great car and still looks contemporary. Ungaraged, its finish has held up amazingly well. With SHAWD it's a winter car that goes anywhere under any conditions. Ihas most all of the trick features of today's cars and with the key fob in my wallet just touching the handles opens and locks it. An added bonus I've never forgotten my wallet and left home without my driver's license or credit cards. The sound system is good, the nav works flawlessly, pairing the phone easy the bluetooth perfect. It has a ton of standard equipment like rear window shades that have come in handy. I've never kept a car this long but to get the same level of reliability under these harsh conditions is up for grabs and a car with all these features is 75K up. It's only issue is the 5 speed transmission that has offered no problems other than not seamless. The interior does show a few signs of wear. The driver's door armrest looked to be leather but is actually rubber that's worn through to a checked cloth backing and the dash under the glove box has bubbled. A job for Dr. Pimple Popper? It's got enough power for everyday driving, gets a solid 25 on the highway but around this hilly town with no stop and go traffic, between 18-19. Truth is, at 82,I hope to drop dead before the car.

They were helpful to the point of referring me to a local shop capable of providing a detailed, third party inspection...then ultimately driving it to/from the shop. There was no pressure, even when we ultimately decided this wasn't the right time to make this particular purchase. The overall experience was refreshing. I will be monitoring their inventory, as there's a good chance I'll ultimately buy my next vehicle from them.

This is Acura's flag ship car and offers out standing performance. It's reliable, well designed and smooth running automobile. It's a dream to drive & has many advanced features.

The last dealership I went to was terrible, employees didn't know what they were doing, terrible prices, scummy tactics. Hill's was the complete opposite. Jesse was great, he got me into the right car and didn't try to sell me a car I didn't want. Prices were fair, car has a warranty included in the listed price, and first oil change is free. If I'm still in the area when I need a new car, Hills is the place I'll go!

Bought this car in 2014. Always kept up with maintenance. Only major thing I had to do was replace the alternator in 2017 (11 years old by then). Currently at 280k miles. Frequently driven on an avg of 5 hour road trips. If I came across another one, I would not hesitate to buy it. I had the 2008 TL type S also, but I love the RL More. This is a keeper! An i will drive it til the wheels fall off.

This car met every need of mine except for the obvious bad gas mileage at about 19 mpg on average. I added third party auto start and Bluetooth for music and calling and it literally is amazing

The truck that I came to look at had already been sold. That’s about it. Too bad. But good news I I found another Chevrolet Avalanche which is nicer and is the color that I prefer.
