This car is eye-catchingly beautiful and attracts attention wherever I drive it. It is also blazingly fast as confirmed with a recent 170+ mph blast around the road course at Daytona International Speedway. Even at such elevated speeds, it is extremely confidence-inspiring with rock solid stability and directional control. On top of all that, it is quite comfortable and maintenance is reasonable for an exotic car. It is also Honda reliable! The interior is well laid out and attractive. For a car that sits as low as this one, it has good headroom (I am 6' 1"). The seats are supportive without being intrusive. On the track, one gets the lateral support needed, but never with any discomfort. My only beef with the interior is the controls for the audio system. They are not user friendly, even though they would be familiar to most Acura owners. The flip side is that the (upgraded) sound system is very good--once you figure out how to turn it on and select what you want to hear. The carbon-ceramic brakes are simply phenomenal. At Daytona, I was braking from over 160 mph before the chicane and the car always stayed where I pointed it with no wiggles. It did not seem possible to make them fade--in fact they performed better when they warmed up. This car makes no pretense about being a family car. It a true exotic sports car and notwithstanding its excellent interior comfort, it is very much performance focused. Cost effectiveness is pretty much dependent on one's perspective and purpose in owning such a vehicle. It actually gets decent mileage when driven "normally." I get between 23 and 25 mpg on the highway. This goes down to 6 mpg on the track! While I loved my 1991 NSX, this car is in a different league and I can't see myself selling it even though I could do so at a profit.

I bought my RSX Type S new in 2006. I was told I received the last Blackhawk Night Pearl Type S in the Eastern US. I fell in love upon first seeing an RSX on the road and just had to have one! I still own my little gem and enjoy it on the days I don't have the kids in tow. It's beautiful to look at and incredibly fun to drive. You can shift gears with a flick of the wrist in this car and it is so smooth. A few years into my ownership, I upgraded the head unit and now have a bluetooth-compatible audio system with GPS. This upgrade has brought the car into the 2020's! The only downside to still owning this car is that the backseat is very small for passengers. The storage space is amazing, though, because the rear seats both fold completely flat. Overall, this is an excellenet car that has given me no major issues at all.

Emissions functions have not been touched, just suspension and aesthetics, and I have enjoyed learning about cars with this little car. Has a lot of pep, and handles great! Super easy to learn manual on, and it has a brand new clutch in it. It will continue to run well, and whoever is lucky enough to snag this car, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Out of state buyer and had a great experience with Devin at Mark Motors. Bought a 458 Italia with A customer service. Price wasn't over inflated and was just right. When the car was delivered to me, there was a small curb rash on one of the wheel and a missing 2nd key, but Devin took care of that for me without question. Bought mine from a guy I used to work with in 2014. It needed a radiator and a wheel bearing, leaked oil, ripped leather seats, a few dings, and the other standard issues with a 225,000 mile car. I replaced timing belt and water pump, radiator, wheel bearing, camshaft seals, and bought new tires for it. I personally have wrecked it twice (oops) and 60,000 insanely brutal still-leaking-oil, redline it daily, miles later in 2017, the auto transmission decides it doesnt want to pull anymore. Looked for a 5 speed swap for around 4 years while the car sat under a maple tree and attempted to rot away, but money or parts availability was always an issue. Ended up slappin a 4spd GSR tranny in it last year (2021) after my other car decided it needed to start puking all its coolant out through the tailpipe via the cylinder 3 exhaust valve. My Teggy is a true trooper. A new battery, fresh oil change, some gas, and a throttle position sensor was all she needed to drive again. And tires. Its now over 300,000 miles, STILL leaks oil to the point where it look like its on fire from where it drips on the exhaust pipe, and I continue to drive it like I stole it. It really just goes to show that you dont need to be gentle with these beasts. Just remember to keep fluids checked and topped off and keep maintenance up to date. As long as there aren't any major engine performance mods, you can dog these cars everyday and its like they don't care. At least mine doesn't.

A hatchback....that you cannot find no more......it has 151,000 km and runs just fine.....not much repairs yet......I just love this car....I canT put my mind to sell it....I still think the model is beautiful.....and still when I look at it I still think it's a very good looking car....to my taste....

If you are any sort of car enthusiast then you will love driving one of these, but I'd highly suggest you get the more sporty Type S model. That is the one I own and it has 40 more HP than the base model which you can definitely feel the difference in power. I bought mine at 150K miles with 2 previous owners and they kept the car in phenomenal shape both aesthetically and mechanically speaking. These are Honda engines so if you keep up with basic maintenance the engine will last for a VERY LONG time. The car is relatively rare and has timeless styling. I get compliments on it regularly from teenagers and all the way up to 70+ year old senior citizens. When this car eventually dies on me (hopefully WAYYY down the line) I'm either going to buy another RSX Type S or a Honda Civic Si. Regardless, this car sold me on Honda engines, specifically the K20 and I'm never turning to anything else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CAR!!!!

Honda of Short Pump serviced my 2025 Pilot today. The staff could not have been more efficient. Everyone was extremely nice and I felt welcome there by Everyone I came in contact with. I will return for future service work.

I have owned 4 acura Rsx-S from 2001 to 2004 they are all rock solid cards, mechanically unstoppable , only down side is rust. But if you can find a clean one it'll run until the end of time with proper maintenance even if heavily abused.
