I've started by having previously a DB7 1997 MY 3.3 litre 6 cylinders, which I kept until I suffered a hip replacement surgery seven years ago, and due to the pain going in and going out of the car, I finally decided to sell it. But always having in mind the Aston Martin I've always wanted: the DB9. Which I lately and finely got one, a 2007 produced, in perfect conditions, same colour as the previous DB7 (metallic dark grey) and 55.000 kms on the clock. This car is a joy. And I recommend heavily any one who is getting the idea and the possibility of acquiring one, not to lose the opportunity. By the way, you don't have to be shy: it is a head turner - all the time - and even more, you can find more that some one taking photos with his or her camera while you drive that magnificent car. One of the best looking cars on the road, after my 911 this thing is a lot more fun on the road. The engine is very reliable because it came from the Mercedes GT. Owning an Aston Martin Vantage was already special, but after getting it tuned by ecm tuner, the car became a whole new beast. The throttle response is instant, the power delivery is insane.

Absolutely excellent car. When I set out to buy a new sports car, I had three cars on my list. They were the Vantage, 911, and AMG GT-C. The 911 is a great car but you see one at every stoplight. AMG GT I found to be an odd looking car and has a very stiff ride. The Vantage shares the same engine as the AMG but offers a much better ride, and pretty much an equal in performance and in my opinion looks much better. If you are looking for a comfortable sports car that is reliable, good looking and best of all a bargain in the second hand market, add the Vantage to your list.
