We recently purchased the X5 xDrive 40i and we love it. I was very surprised at how comfortable and sporty it is. The staff at BMW of McKinney made this experience so much better than we expected. I was dreading test driving and going to dealerships. Danny Nguyen was our sales rep, he was very professional and knowledgeable. There are so many features and settings on new vehicles and he did a great job showing us how to navigate through the menus. He was helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Alex Clifton (finance) guided us through the purchase and signing of the documents. He answered our questions and he made the process less stressful. He was very organized and has a great personality, helped us feel at ease. Saleem and Isaiah are 2 of the geniuses who helped me navigate the technology of our new “computer on wheels”. Saleem was very knowledgeable with all the apps; including setting up my BMW id on my iPhone. I also want to recognize the ladies at check in, they were friendly and helpful. I just walked in and asked if I could test drive and she connected me with Danny. We highly recommend BMW of McKinney and we are so happy with our new car!

Went from a 2018 S5 to the 2018 RS5 because I loved the styling and wanted the additional power. The interior of these cars is absolutely fantastic. The MMI system is easy to use and fairly intuitive. Android Auto works very well, and I'm actually really happy that there is no touch screen interface to have to deal with. Seats are very comfortable and controls are easy to find and intuitive. Power is plentiful and immediately available. This car is a ton of fun to drive around. I have seen complaints about the exhaust note; I can understand where that comes from. Even in the most aggressive setting, the sound the car makes is pretty subdued compared to some other cars in this range. It's perfect for me, but some people may want a bit more. In comfort mode the ride can be a bit bouncey where dynamic mode is very rigid and perhaps best kept to track day usage. Comfort mode is just fine for me, but I do think the ride in my S5 was a bit better for day-to-day use. Minor tradeoff, but perhaps worth mentioning. All in all I am extremely happy with this car. It's fun, gorgeous, comfortable, and packed with a ton of tech that works very well.

I acquired a 2021 TTRS in August, trading in a 2022 Audi TTS on this beast. If your looking for a practical car, look elsewhere. The ride is rough, not much room inside. This vehicle is a toy. A fast one at that. Especially with an ECU tune. Holy Toledo! And that 5 cycling engine. My wife’s Mercedes has a lot more tech features, has room. A great traveling car. But it’s not a TTRS.
